  1. If you put your head near the cases you will definitely hear noises. When you have a problem in there you should hear a noise loud enough to let you know. I had a crank spread on me once and it was grinding on the cases...I knew something was wrong right away. You should be fine if it isn't a new noise. You can always change the oil and look for pieces of metal.
  2. I have ran 927 in my banshee for about 9 years now with no problems. Very little build up on the pistons when torn down every 3 years. I have heard that bikes with powervalves might clog up...but maybe that is just the maintance they require. I have no idea of shelf life. I have let fuel sit for 6 months mixed and just shook it and poured. If the gas is still good I can't imagine the oil going bad or disappearing. Jason
  3. Had a twist on my shee and hit a tree 1st ride on it going over whoops. My body and bars were moving independently and the throttle was all over the place. I seem to have more control with a dirt bike in the whoops. Also...with a dirt bike you lean more to stear....a quad has to have handlebar movement to turn which throws my throttle control off...to each his own I guess...thumbs for me though.
  4. The TORS on the wifes shee took dump one day...wouldn't rev up at all. I slapped on the motion pro kit and had the cable adjusted wrong and it stuck WOT on her!!! That is some scary sh$#...anyway...the tors have some linkage that "gears" down the cable so it has less throw than the thumb throttle alone. Just make sure the indent on the slides don't go too high past the window on the carbs...or they can stick. It doesn't add any hps by going above them anyway. JR
  5. FMF Fattys...all others are overpriced.
