Hey guys, I haven't been on this forum for a couple of years (switched to a yfz and doing freestyle, kinda forgot about it) but I was just surfing the net and remembered all the hours I spent on here when I had my banshee. So I was just wondering, where are all the OG's at? These guys helped me out alot with parts, advice, etc. People like Banchetta, Minkia38, BenBB, Fixitrod, BamaBanshee, RzBanshee, etc. Where you guys at? still around? post back!

if your looking to do mx, get a 450..period... i dumped 3500 into my banshee getting PEP ZPS shocks all the way around, a arms, axle, swinger, you name it. at the end of the day, the banshee isnt made for mx. banshees are great quads but they just arent competative in motocross. the money you spend on setting up your banshee, you could almost buy a used 450 with some aftermarket parts.

you arent going to try to flip a banshee are you? thats an accident waiting to happen. believe me i did freestyle for a number of years on my banshee before getting a yfz, and its night and day difference. my banshee was no slacker either but my yfz was much better then the banshee even when it was stock. ive seen numerous flips the last few years (i only live a few miles from jon guetter's homeplace in mn) and ive also seen them go wrong. and contrary to what many people think, you can get seriously hurt landing in a foampit. just something to think about...

I live about 2 ours southwest of the twin ciites. No i went over the whole frame when i did the a arm conversion and its in great condition no cracks. Yes the shocks would work if you didnt race but they can easily be revalved by Rath Racing in Hutchinson if you find that they are too soft.

No, I would rather not part it out. I dont have the time or patience for that. The shocks are set up for 160lb B class mx. They dont have much time on them at all.

I have my 1987 Banshee for sale -PEP ZPS shocks front/rear -Toomey T5 pipes and silencers -Wiseco Pistons -Hot Rod crank -28mm carbs with TORS removed -ASR +2 +1 arms with heim joints -LSR axle -A arm frame conversion -frame and a arms p/c Many more mods but it would take forever to list them all. This has been a very good bike for me and I would LOVE to keep it but I need money to pay off my 450's winter rebuild so it has to go. It has a strong motor and is very fast. The shocks work great, one of the only Banshees I have seen with PEP ZPS. If anyone is interested I will put up pics but I just thought I would see if there was any interest first. well there are holes drilled and it cut but i have the lid on there so the filter is held on otherwise it will rattle loose...rite now my jetting is 300 mains but i havent done a plug chop yet.

the motor mods are as follows: bored .060 over, wiseco pistons, hot rod crank, 28mm minkuni carbs, toomey t5 pipes and scilencers, boost bottle, boyesen reeds, k&n filter, air box snorkel removed, reed spacers, and i think that is about it. thanks guys

oops sorry about the sig guys forgot to check that ill get one on here asap. Banchetta--i never found out why they were hitting but i just build up the stops on the steering stem with the wire feed and it seems to be working ok but i can still get the rims to hit if i jump and turn hard in the air. it seems weird but i dont know what else i can do without sacraficing my turning radius. but otherwise they are working great. i havent ridden in awhile but im hoping to sometime next week when i get some new jets.

ok ive had my peps on order for like 2 months and i called yesterday to find out it will be another 2! the peps are triple rate zps with remote rezzies and 895$. then again i could get triple rate zps elkas with remote or piggyback (my choice) rezzies and i could get em in 2 weeks at the most for 745$. my question is, WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!?! and if you want me to get elkas what kind of rezzies? thanks guys and plz reply hurridly!
