  2. Here is the deal. I bought this bike in pieces, coffees cans, and boxes. I replaced the whole top end of the motor because it was damaged. New crank, pistons, heads, rings, etc. It has a new ricky stator stator on it. New chain and both spockets. TORS eliminator kit, parking brake block off plate. Douglas wheels with Fast Trekker tires. Renthal bars. Blue plastics. The bike runs great. The engine is stock (not bored). I have a team alba graphics kit with seat cover not even installed (still in box from Alba). Here is the kicker. I bought a used frame off Ebay. When I got the frame, it had the numbers ground off. Thats what I get for buying from someone with little feedback. I need money due to unexpected boat repairs. I have to replace the bellows and labor is out of control on this repair. I am willing to start parting out or if someone wants to buy this thing complete with no numbers thats cool too. Shoot me some offers. i am open to just about anything.

  5. Yeah. mine too. I bought my $hee with the rod sticking out of the front upper case. Its a 99, and I only paid $300. I just bought an upper case and matched it to my factory lower. Not a single problem and no leaks. (at least until I opened mu mouth a wrote this)
  6. Well I had to adjust at the clutch because the nut that goes on that screw back itself off, and then I had absolutely no pull on the lever. As fas as the pressure plate, how do I know where it goes? Are there any markings or something else to make sure its on right?
  7. Ok here it is! I tried to adjust my clutch. I have the side cover off and am adjusting the screw in the center of the clutch. I have the clutch feeling perfect and the arm on top of the engine case (left side) is lined up with the arrow. Problem is when its in gear and clutch lever pulled in, the gears still turn when I roll the quad. It acts like the clucth isnt even pulled in. When I do pull in the clutch lever, the outside plate moves out. If I turn that screw to tight, t hen the clutch lever is WAY to tight. What gives. It worked fine before I started messing with it. I am not sure what I got out of whack. THe clutch is stock by the way....... a 99 with low hours.
