  1. lots of things are cleared to me from this topic. as there are no good engine builders here in DUBAI its difficult for me to build a relaiable 4mm stroked banshee without spending alot of cash. so i was thinking to order a machined head or an after market head. but will i need to do anything with the ports or its ok if i left them stock ( is the 4mmstoke porting differant than the stock stroke ) thanks
  2. one of my friends is taking off his wheel spacers ( both front and rear ) and he lost the OEM studs that was on the hubs, can anyone give me the studs specs for replacment, cant find them in the dealer and he have to wait for arround 40-60 days for them to arrive and its riding season over here in dubai.   4. i pulled off the carbs, cleaned them, replaced the plug and its better than before. its def. an electrical issue, i thinks its time to replace the stator. thanks all for the help
  5. after the rebuild it was fine for a while, but at the last trip i noticed that. i tried it today and it is the same + 1 fouled plug ( left cylinder ). Compression was somewhere between 130 and 140 in both cylinder. sea level and the temp is between 55f and 65f
  6. i remember buying for my old shee ( back in 2003) a set of pipes from thunder racing (4wthunder or something like that) those pipes was bigbore pipe the guy gave me a jet kit with the pipes ( as a gift for being late to ship them to me), the kit contained a pair of carb needels made of titanium. I WAS AN A$$ and sold the bike in 2007 because i did not have time to ride it anmore ( i was a student)......im posting this thread to ask where can i fing this jet kit or a good jet kit. because 4wthunder is out of bussiness

I noticed that my banshee is not responsive as used is used to be, i dont know if its a jetting issue or not. top end has been rebuilt 3 weeks ago ( 4 trips on new top end) it takes some time for the engine to scream. my jets are 310 and 27 on stock carbs. my mods are dmc aliends, k&n pods, vforce2 and timing plate (+4 advance). Im thinking of boaring my stock carbs , is it worth doing? thanks
  8. how do you like your 4mm stroker, which kit you're using and from where you got it?, did you notice that much differance ? my setup will be the kit i posted + bored stock carbs + shaved head (until i get bigger carbs) i have on my shee V-force reeds, timing plated DMC aliens k&n pods

I blew up my engine today and it seems that i need to replace the crankshaft. im thinking of replacing the crankshaft with 1-hotrods +4mm 115mmrods 2-hotrods longrods shaft stock stroke 3-Stock all of them are trued and welded i ride for long hours non stop, which one is most relaiable. which crank do you think is the best for me if i chose to increase the stroke is it a must to do some porting
