  1. Please put me in also! Need a set for my newest addiction!! Curt
  2. What almost all experienced flat track guys do is they get a set of shorter front shocks. For my banshee I put a set of Works AT steelers on. Works great, you can even adjust the shock so you can set the ride height. Those front lowering brackets retard the shock angle, therefor not achieving the best performance. Also you might consider a sway bar, these make a big difference in handling, vers. not having one. Hope this helps Curt
  3. No you wont need higher octane fuel, 93 is fine for what you have. You only need race fuel if you have high compression, by using domes 19cc or lower, in a cool head. Did you try tearing your carbs apart and giving them a good cleaning? And make sure the reeds aren't torn and are in decent shape. That should do the trick. As for the electronic tempo control, i dunno what that is. good luck
  4. I'm having a similar problem, and I know the jettiing is good, Could you let me know if it turned out to be the CDI Unit? Thanks
  5. I got a 420 Trinity Long Rod engine, K&N clamp-ons, V-force reed valve, 34mm Kiehn carbs, Trinty Pro TT Port, and cool head with 18cc domes, fatty pipes and not sure of the silencers, just know they are FMF's.Shee runs fine, except when you hold the throttle in all the way for more than a second. If you get it a quick rev to full throttle it runs good. It runs good at 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 throttle when held in. Just at full throttle left side doesnt fire all the time. Here's what i did Result new plugs nothing checked and cleaned both carbs completely, no dirt or derbis anywhere nothing checked floats nothing cleaned air filter nothing checked reeds, and valve nothing swapped carbs, problem still on same side so I can eliminate carbs completely The jetting is perfect, Ive been racing it with the mods for awhile. I raced it one weekend, got a 1st and 3rd, so you know it was running good, I didnt touch it all week, raced it next weekend, and in the practice laps it started doing this. Can sillencers cause this? I took the packing out, it was pretty bad. Could the packing somehow get clogged in there? I have no packing to replace it yet, and I dont want to run it with no packing, way too loud with thiis engine. Thank s in advance. Curt
  6. I relocated mine, but not to the front. I have a lone star swaybar on, and with that on it wont fit up there, and i removed my airbox to put on clamp-ons, so I put it on my rear link. I have an adjustable one so it has them extra holes in it for different hieghts, I used like 3 zip ties and zip tied it to that, and it works fine there.
  7. I always thought of a motor as an electrical motor. And an engine as anything that uses combustion, fuel, and spark. I was into R/C cars a couple years ago.... The electric cars they were referred to as motors, never engines,, and with the Gas cars, they were always engines,, never called motors. Even in the magazines and ads, they never called the gas cares,,,,, motors,, they always used engine. So thats why i think that way.
  8. I think only people who dont have them will say yes, if you already have one,,, it is much easier to use the book since ya can take it with you to you garage, or the races,, that is unless ya have a laptop that you can take with you than it would be good.
