  1. I have quicksand a-arms and the heim joints need to be replaced. They seem to be an odd size because I can't find any with a 3/8" bore and 5/8" shaft. Anybody with these a-arms replaced your heims yet?
  2. I am looking at getting a new helmet and always heard that shoei was one of the best. Because of the price I have never considered getting one. I found a closeout deal on one for $215. I want a lightweight helmet with good ventilation. Should I get this one or look for something else?
  3. I can try a 45 pilot tomorrow but does it really need to be that much leaner than factory with nothing done to it but a pipe and a twin air filter?
  4. Not a banshee but I don't know anywhere else to ask. I have a 98 cr250 with a pro circuit exhaust. I am supposed to do some woods riding this weekend so I have to get the jetting done soon. The only problem I am having is at idle to 1/8 throttle. I started on the stock 55 pilot and went to a 52 and now a 48 all with the same problem. At idle and very little throttle it lopes like a 4 stroke with a cam. This makes it very difficult to ride slow. My manual says to start with the idle adjuster at least 36 clicks out. At that setting, it wont even try to idle. I am on 52 clicks out just to get it to idle. The bike came with a BR8ES plug but the book says it should have a BR8EG. Would that have any effect on how it runs? Should I be running a hotter plug? Am I still rich on the 48 pilot?
  5. Did a leak down test and it checked out good. Tried a good stator and still runs the same. Could it be the reeds? I am running vforce 2 and they are about 3-4 years old. They looked good last time I had them out but I guess they could be a little weak. If they are bad, could that cause the way its running?
  6. Nothing yet. Don't know anyone else that has a banshee around me. Can't be the coil because it was doing the same thing with the stock coil. I changed coils because the stock one checked out to be bad but that wasn't the problem. I am not sure what the jetting is supposed to be because I was in the process of jetting it when it started doing this.
  7. Anybody know if its normal for the ohms to go up that much, 18.6 to 22.1, or is my stator my problem?
  8. I bought a leak down tester but it hasn't come in yet. I rechecked the stator but this time I let it idle for about 1 1/2 min then disconected the plug. I got 22.1 and 112.5 this time. Is it supposed to go up that much?
  9. I have the yfz450 calipers and master cylinder on mine also. Big improvement over stock. You don't have to use the 450 master cylinder. I am not sure if the 450 master cylinder even makes them work any better.
  10. Thats pretty much what it's doing but it still doesn't explain why it didn't have any spark yesterday. I am going to get the leak down tester and test for that.
  11. I do have the stock cdi but it ran the exact same way with it. Just to see how it would run, I have put in from 158 to 185 main jet and it runs exactly the same. I don't know what else to do to it besides replace the stator and see if it fixes it.
  12. Yesterday, it didn't have any spark. It has a new nology coil and dyna cdi. Also had new plugs. It has been having problems with the way its running for a few months now. The coil checked to be bad so I replaced it and it still didn't run much better. All grounds seem to be good. Gas was new at that time. I know my jetting is probably off a little but it runs the same no matter what jetting I run. It wont rev out. Does fine at slow speeds.
  13. Yesterday my bike died and wouldn't start. I went and bought a tester and tested the stator and came up with green to red 18.6, white/green to white/red 108.9 and yellow to black .6. I was told it should be 17-20 and 117-120. I did not try to crank it just before testing but right after it cranked up but it still doesn't run good. Does this mean my stator is bad?
  14. I know my banshee needs rebuilding. Compression is 113 and 122 and its supposed to be rebuilt at 130. My question is would the compression alone cause it to run so bad that it wont idle or be able to ride it?
  15. Dont have TORS and the nology coil doesn't ground to the frame like the stock coil.
  16. A few weeks ago my banshee started cutting out at high rpms and eventually it wouldn't stay running anymore. I checked the stator , pickup coil and the coil. The coil showed to be bad so I replaced it with a nology. It started up right away and seemed like there were no problems. I rode it down the road and it started cutting out again. Today it started up and idled for about 5 min then I started to go and it died before I could get out of the driveway and will not start. It has no spark. Think it might be the cdi? Nobody has another banshee that I could try it on around me.
  17. I didn't know Jeff sold swingarms. Do you have any pictures of it and how much was it?

I have quicksand +2+1 a arms and really want to get the -2 swingarm but I found one on ebay for $350. swingarm I know quicksands is built stronger but is this one built strong enough to handle big jumps? I want to get a swingarm and a dyna ignition and for the price of the quicksand swingarm, I can get both. Should I get it?
  19. I currently have a 2001 Suzuki RM125. I want to go to a 250. I can get a 98 Honda CR250R with a PC pipe for $2000 maybe even less. It hasn't been ridden very much and never raced. Is this a good deal or should I try to get a newer model? I don't know what changes have been made since 98.
  20. Patriot Racing pro mx port and PTR mids. Noss head with 19cc domes and alot of other things that Patriot Racing suggested for mx. He didn't say anything about the ignition though. Will an aftermarket ignition help me out any and which one?
  21. Alba has the plasma booster and the Dyna. Which one is the best to use and are there any other kinds?

  23. The ball welded itself to the rod and clutch adjuster. I have already ordered the new parts. Any way to keep this from happening?
  24. I am switching from TR6 to PTR mids and need a starting place on the jetting. I have a Patriot Racing Pro MX port, v-force reeds, 28mm keihin carbs and dual k&n filters at sea level.
