  3. hes probably in jail playing bitch.
  4. thanks a lot. now everyone sitting in the room thinks im crazy cause im sitting here laughing out loud. i can just picture it. too bad you didnt get it on video tape. i had a run in with a swingset once, i came around a corner, tried to avoid a dog, caught my wheel on the leg of the swingset and got thrown off. i was laying face up on the ground kinda thinking "damn...that was funny..." when my brother came ripping around the same corner and ran me over. right up over my helmet chest and stomach. it knocked the wind out of me pretty well, injured a couple ribs, but the best part was the kick ass tire tread scar i had on my stomach for a few years after.
  5. hahahaaa!! that picture just about sums it up! too bad being cool doesnt help me keep a man! god dammit. a drink sounds good. shopping helps too. and cookies. cookies help....maybe a labotomy.
  6. awww led im sorry. what is up with all the breakups recently?? i just had a breakup, poor ol tat just had a breakup. we need to start a breakup counseling forum.
  7. get a website for your business too. a web presence is almost a must these days. plus, selling online makes your customer base unlimited.
  8. No, i dont listen to talk radio. i just know lots of useless stuff. and stan, on the clinton thing... i think its funny he lied under oath, and got off scott free but hmm...martha stewart got convicted of lying to an agent, NOT under oath, and shes going to the slammer. hmm, something doesnt seem right here. and NO she wasnt convicted of insider trading, not even charged with it, so dont even start with that bullshit.
  9. stan i can understand the accounting thing. i bet its mathmatics in general. its just a rare, different type of mind. and i didnt know it was x amount of years since last abuse, i thought they didnt want you if you had ever done any illegal drugs...i know someone who was trying to get in, got through two interviews, and hasnt heard back. iceman i lmao at the giant helmet comment.
  10. first, to meat, i think we had good reason to go to war with iraq. he was a horrible dictator who kills hundreds of thousands of his own people and he was canoodling with terrorists....and on the al-qaida link, one of the big al-qaida guys was brought into baghdad to get treated for injuries he sustained on the killing fields of afghanistan, good ol sadaam made sure he got the best treatment available and to blue deuce, you hit the nail on the head my friend. diversify. that was my goal from day 1, always something to fall back on. i studied behavioral science in college, this major has a wide variety of options as far as jobs go, you can enter the research field (minored in mathmatics for that purpose), you can go into the treatment field (focused study on chemical dependancy/addiction) you could train for the FBI to be a profiler(that would be cool but i hear they ask if youve ever done drugs, lie detector, damn my wild youth), and my current application...the advertising/marketing field. i am currently getting my web development certification, and next will be getting my business marketing certification, all the while learning as many software programs as humanly possible to stay on top of everything and be an almost self-sustaining entity in my business til i get well on my feet. i can take an almost domino like fall and have several safety nets in place. you gotta look out for yourself, no one else will. you shouldnt expect the government to be there to catch you if you fall.
  11. first of all, i do have compassion for the middle class. most of my extended family falls into that category. and my comment about pee-on jobs wasnt to insult anyone, but why save those jobs instead of giving an opportunity to bring in higher paying jobs? im sure all those people with the pee-on jobs would trade those jobs for better ones in a heartbeat...alls it takes is more training and/or education. in the area i live in, the majority of jobs are low paying, low skilled ones. i would much rather see those jobs go out of the country and train those "50 year old ladies" for new higher paying jobs. there have recently been a lot of mills in my area shutting down, and leaving those people without their jobs...but those mills also set up programs to train the workers for new jobs, most of which would be higher paying. i dont see that as a sad situation. o and always buy craftsman...you get what you pay for. now if you'll excuse me, i need to go take a shower to wash some of this political filth off.
  12. ok #1 bush had multiple sources telling him that sadaam had WMDs, including intelligence from other countries, and a scientist from iraq. and where were you going with "The United States has never in its history attacked another country, until we attacked Iraq on the basis on them having WMD, and a few other atrocities Iraq has done." ? we have gone to war many times withough being attacked directly by the country. #2&3 sadaam has been kicking the UN inspectors out of places since the gulf war, telling them they coulding look in certain places etc, violating the un sanctions. we went to the UN before going intto iraq, and gave sadaam months and months notice that we wanted in, those months and months gave him pleanty of time to hide or destroy whatever he may have had. there are countries who participate in the UN who get MUCH more out of sadaam and iraq than we ever have *cough*france*cough* and had good reason to keep us from going in and taking sadaam out of power *cough*food for oil treaty*cough* #6 we dont need iraq's oil. we get most of our oil supply elsewhere. and i think the UN is a bunch of pussies, they are proving that now with whats going on in the sudan, and their unwillingness to stop that genocide. #7 i think you need to do some homework. the 9/11 comission did find connections between sadaam and al-qaida no one wants our soldiers to die, but life isnt all sunshine and roses, sacrifice has to be made for the greater good. look at our history and compare it to our current situation in iraq: FDR led us into WWII. Germany never attacked us, Japan did. from 1941-1945 450,000 lives were lost, and average of 112,500 a year. truman finished that war and started one in korea, north korea never attacked us. from 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost, and average of 18,334 a year. JFK started the vietnam conflict in 1962, vietnam never attacked us. under johnson in vietnam, from 1965-1975 58,000 lives were lost, and average of 5,800 a year clinton went to war in bosnia without UN or french consent, bosnia never attacked us. in the two years since we were attacked bush has liberated two countries, crushed the taliban, crippled al-qaida, put nuclear inspectors in libya, iran and north korea without firing a shot
  13. well. i like ol georgie boy, but polittics is politics, it will never change you know what they say, politics is just showbiz for ugly people. ...you know what else they say...somewhere there is a carnival running itself.
  14. yea you guys are right, lets just stop all free trade and our economy will be MUCH better.... the more pee-on jobs that get sent to china, the more higher paying jobs we can have here.
  15. we did go after osama, and still are... we have always had our hand on the pulse of north korea, its a very volitile situation... but sadaam is the one who was killing his own people, and sadaam was the one hosting terrorists with links to osama, and sadaam is the one who has repeatedly bullied the pansy UN we are capable of doing more than one thing at a time, we have been, and still are. i still dont understand this selfish attitude people have about helping iraq. why are we so bad for helping them? we are fine here in america, we are much better off than the iraqis. as the world power that we are, we have a duty to help the little guy in need. im also for space missions, i think spending money on science is ALWAYS a good thing. and what about this tax "bullshit" bush is proposing? elaborate.
  16. thank you for answering me i dont have any problem with anyone who works. i just have a problem with people who feel like the government owes them something, or people who take unemployment when they could go get another job, or people who take welfare that dont deserve it. people that look down on the wealthy, and people who look down on the blue collar workers bug me. if you work, youre aces with me, but as soon as you start bitching about shit other than normal workplace icantstandsoandso, and bitch about people who make more money than you, or less money than you, or take unemployment instead of getting another job for the next six months, or go on welfare just cause you decided to have too many kids than you can afford...that shit bugs me.
  17. Meat where did that quote come from? who said that? i havent read this whole thread, i tried to stay away from it as long as possible, because everyone knows as soon as i start talking politics, i make enemies quick. in my opinion, no one who works 40 hrs a week can be called lazy, whether youre loading trucks or sitting behind a desk. thats a horrible thing to say.
  18. you need to get plastered AND laid on your birthday, its only right.
  19. gee, dont you ever need album cover art? or tshirt designs for youre lovely clients...or websites, or uhh, music videos made? lol i wonder if i could somehow make it ok to write off all the mountain dew and peanut M&M's i use to keep my creative energy flowing...
  20. I think we should all share with him, our best drunken stories.
  21. the IRS doesnt start paying attention unless you start writing off home office expenses...home heating, electricity, etc etc. if you steer clear of that, you shouldnt have any problems with uncle sam, and the worst that would happen is an audit. dont forget to write off milage on your vehicle.
  22. next relationship i end, im gonna have "the end" playing, by the doors. "Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill This is the end Beautiful friend This is the end My only friend, the end It hurts to set you free But you'll never follow me The end of laughter and soft lies The end of nights we tried to die This is the end " then a smooth transition into nine inch nail's "closer" to make a subtle suggestion of break-up sex... "you can have my isolation, you can have the hate that it brings you can have my absence of faith, you can have my everything help me tear down my reason, help me its' your sex I can smell help me you make me perfect, help me become somebody else I want to f*ck you like an animal" then onto ludacris' "move (bitch)" as i kick him out the door "OH NO! The fight's out I'ma 'bout to punch yo...lights out Get the f*ck back, guard ya grill There's somethin' wrong, we can't stay still I've been drankin' and bustin' two and I been thankin' of bustin' you Upside ya motherfuckin' forehead" move, bitch, get out the way.
  23. yea, like edwards who started the whole skyrocketing healthcare costs by suing doctors for malpractice in cerebral-palsy cases. if you know anyone in the medical field who knows their shit, then you know that it was never really a widely accepted theory that CP was caused by doctors not giving c-sections or not giving them soon enough. since then malpractice insurance has skyrocketed along with healthcare costs, and more and more women are getting c-sections, which is usually an unnecessary surgery and puts the mother at an unnecessar risk. edwards even channeled the dead babies in court " Edwards told the jury, "She said at 3, 'I'm fine.' She said at 4, 'I'm having a little trouble, but I'm doing O.K.'...At 5:30, she said, 'I need out.'" His closer: "She speaks to you through me...I feel her presence. She's inside me, and she's talking to you." Edwards's clients won a $6.5 million verdict in that cerebral-palsy case and Edwards went on to win over $60 million in about 20 similar lawsuits over allegedly botched deliveries against doctors and hospitals. His share of the verdicts was typically about a third." sinful
  24. dude, thats EXACTLY what im doing now lol just starting to contract work out through me to other people so i can have more time to do the bigger things, but still keep the clients to myself lol. im able to get into more and more things, build a huge range of skills, and keep growing and growing, adding key people to my arsenol, be it a reliable graphics person or a skilled coder who charges less than industry norm. pay some guy the $40/hour he charges, thinking hes big time, for work that i charge the client $80-$100/hour for. then turn the money around back into the business. all the while my clients are incredibly happy cause not only do they get my full attention on their project, but they pay increadibly less with me cause i have no overhead costs whatsoever, and i dont have a million pee-ons and a bunch of micro managing going on to inflate the prices and dilute the details of client wishes like the big agencies do. everybody wins now i just have to decide what my next business purchase will be....
