  1. They're not hard to replace at all. I'd suggest a clymers, good torque wrench & a 6pack.
  2. Wipe off your upper lip!
  3. Why is he getting rid of it? trades? pics?
  4. Sounds like you're waaay out of adjustment. Do you have a clymers manual? If not, I'd highly suggest making that pricesless investment...it will help you tremendously. Did you adjust the clutch so the rod & ball have some free-play? Pressure plate installed correctly?
  5. Werd. Hit & Miss as to people's preferences & misfortunes...I had to get a new stator so I just went with the RS stock stator on the adjustable plate for $125; no regrets. I still would probably spend the extra 20-25 bucks for an adjustable plate. Just MHO...
  6. Sorry man, that sucks. But...it happens to the best of us. If you have a cat; go kick it, you'll feel better.
  7. Looks good Wallrat! I keep telling myself,..."One of these days..."
  8. I think you're all full of shit!
  9. I think he may have...did you hear the guy on the camera telling him to hold his head?
  10. LMFAO! CLICK HERE Gotta love it!
  11. Some may have seen this before...I'd not seen it so I figured I'd share the link. http://www.shooshtime.com/clips/video.php?id=3716 Poor SOB!
  12. Got 1 already! Hell I probably got some blank tapes laying around I could bring ya too...
  13. I always loosen everything & take the hubs off last. If you put a hub back on just snub it on there,...put the nuts on the threaded parts, grab a cheater bar or something & wrap a rag around it,...put it in between the bolts on the hubs so you can have some leverage when loosening the axle nuts. Thats what I do anyhoo.
  14. If you can get all of that done for the tune of 6g's...not a bad deal at all.
  15. I want pics; hell...I'd probably sell the g/f's EX & buy it if it's legit. Where RU located? Title?
  16. Unless you want 3.2 beer, get beer before you enter Oklahoma. I always get beer at the lickher sore, I mean liquor store before I leave KS. I'm not much for headaches & the shits in the mornings. oh yeah...any alcohol over 3.2 in any Ok state parks is illegal; but I won't tell anybody...
  17. Correcto-mundo...depending on the design they will help distribute impacts evenly across the hole front side of the arm, rather than in just one point; thus strengthening up the arms.
  18. Anything that works, works for me pretty much. It looks like a bomb went off in my toolbox, I think I have a mixture of damn near all brands in there.
  19. Yes, they can make shocks for pretty much any application. They're custom, they'll set them up for your riding style, weight...basically just like any other shock manufacturer that's worth a hoot. I was going to look into them for some custom arms I was supposed to have built around a while back. If I remember correctly, for a 19" shock it was going to be around 1g or so... I'm going to be running fox shocks on my buggy when I convert it to a mid-travel rail. Here's a pic of some FOX shocks on a rail, on some arms he built...my builder/buddy uses them on all of his applications. They work nicely...he's running no-rezzies at this time on his buggy though. More pics & info on his buggies & fab work... Click Here
  20. Hell yeah man! It's definately a unique feeling powersliding on the crest of a dune while in a wheelie...oughta try it sometime; wheelie up at the lip, hang your ass off one side & nail it; once your facing back down the dune start slamm'n gears and try to keep it in a wheelie all the way down. Kinda like in this pic, but in a bit better wheelie... ...gets me all warm & fuzzy just thinking about it. Over-rotation can be a bitch though, but practice makes perfect!
  21. Werd! Less than 1 month to go!!! That kicks ass man! We're gunna have a blast!
  22. Out the back door? Just drill you a 3/4" hole a little lower than waist high, stuff a hose through there, attach an old funnel to the end inside. Wallah--Piss Tube! Works for me anyway & is great in the winters! And ya gotta have the beer fridge...here's a pic of mine behind my ex-shee, the green ball is always good for frustration; can't count how many times I've tried to kick that fucker through a wall. My personal 'fav' is fixing shit that's been stripped out, bolt heads or screws rounded out that have to be drilled...retapping shit...gotta love it.
  23. Just from my own personal experience, I'd stay away from AC. I'm running an AC swingarm skid & it is sturdy as shit, nothing's hardly scratched it...but where it mounts to the swingarm--that's another story, it't got 2 mounts that have busted from big impacts & the other 2 are damn near wallered out to the point of breaking. ...just some input for ya.
  24. Keep it, pay it off, then buy a yfz. For example...do you think I'd be able to get the money out of my banshee that I've put into it. No....and not many people are going to buy just a piped/filtered shee for 5g's. I know I wouldn't. Here's around 12+k for ya...no way in hell I'd get that back. Hell, I still can't believe I got that much wrapped up into it.
