Converting my swingarm to a +4 with round carrier. Found a guy parting a whole yzf450 axle with carrier and hubs. Would this work on my banshee? Anything specific I should watch for?

Hoping to find a nice +4 swingarm in great shape. I am located in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada so if you have one, please factor in shipping in your price. I don't race, but I enjoy jumping now and then. Love the dunes and trails too. So hoping for one that can handle all the different terrains out there. I have the stock setup now and I know the round bearing carrier is best but not sure if it is in the budget. Please let me know what you have... Thanks for the replies Dave

mine is bent in the front. had a collision a few years ago with another banshee and pushed my front lower aarm back. its totally rideable now.. I upgraded the front a-arms and shocks since but the left tire is just a bit behind the right. will sell it if I find another.

thanks for the input on the parts guys... i decided to go with the Pro Design Stator plate. It seems to have better reviews and a lot less negative feedback that the others. So it on its way! cheers

how do you hook up the timing light to a banshee... my light is 12v so i would need to hook it up to a car battery and then clip the lead on the spark plug wire. Is that all you do? Use an external 12v powersource?

ive read on these forums that the rickystator plate is a peice of junk and gets stripped out very easily. Compared to the local parts shop, $90 is a good deal. I am mainly worried about the specific products quality. thanks for your replies too dave

My stock stator plate cracked appart on one of the tabs that hold the pickup coil in place. Need a new one before I can ride. Stock assembaly is not needed cause the stator itself is in great shape.. only need the plate. anyone have experience with the ProDesign Stator plate?? Any info will be great... plan on ordering something tommorrow. Thanks alot dave
