THEY MAKE JETTING SIMPLE and MUCH EASIER. They work like an adjustable main jet, and they are adjustable from the outside of your carb! You have seen these installed on bikes at the races, and now you can win some here for a lot less than the "big name" shops sell them for. Most shops charge around $50 per jet. Your jetting needs to be adjusted (especially you guys with a lot of mods) to variations in riding altitude, humidity, and air temperature. These externally adjustable power jets mount to the bell of your carb (see the pic for an example, those carbs are not included.) They work to supplement your main jet circuit allowing you to make adjustments to your jetting by just turning the knob at the top of the powerjet. This makes life very easy for those of us who want to make adjustments quickly. Went for the first ride after install. Works great easy to adjust. Started out it was 80 deg and had 143 main as directions stated (10 sizes down, was a 160) and 1 full turn out. Seemed to have a lil' bog on the top so I turned it in 1/4 turn (each quarter turn is about one main jet size) fixed it right up. Later when it warmed up some more outside about 93ish deg I just tightened it up a 1/4 turn and was as zippy as ever.
