As of now the stock bore and port cylinders are sold, The homedone port are still available, they are a 64.5 bore, and the only grinding on them appears to be some knife edging of the intake and some knife edging on the bottom transfers into the case, the ports inside the cylinders are untouched, and the exhaust port is untouched, the threads are good, as are the mating surfaces. The mint .020 trail ported cylinders with pro-lites are still available, they have less than three tanks of fuel ran throuugh and are spotless and clean, thanks for the space, Ryan
  2. Im runnung Holoshot XCR's and I think they are great, pretty light for a 6 ply too, Sounds like i run most of the same terrain, could be a good tire, similar price too!!

  4. Yes you will, the made my machine alot crisper!! worth the money if your machine is not heavily modded otherwise you might wanna go with some V-force 3's.

  6. Well guys, After talking to Jeff at FAST i have decided to go with the 421 cub, shearer, and 38mm 2 into 1, he is gonna work a bit on the port timing and were bonna make this thing go!! Thanks for all the input on this topic, Ryan

  9. Hey guys, im selling a set of mint cylinders with a nice trail port job done by On-point Motorsports, he is a 2-stroke ace. The cylnders are perfect, are .020 over and have less than 3 tanks of fuel through them. also with the cylinders comes a set of Pro-lite pistons, they are perfect also, and are .020 over and have less than 3 tanks of fuel ran. bolt on and go. I also have a set of cylinders with stock porting and stock bore, also clean, and a set of cylinders with what looks to be some sort of trail porting, seem to lack bottom end pretty badly, but work ok on the top end, also clean, could use bore though, they are .020 i belive. Also have Boyesen reeds in stock cages, petals are clean, a stock cdi box from an 02, got some hours on it, but works fine, and a stock head, with very few hours. Im not sure the worth of these items, open to offers or suggestions on asking price!! Thanks, Ryan
  10. Can you describe a "ton of problems" ?? what am i in for? is this setup gonna be reliable? I was kinda hoping to install the kit, install my clutch and swingarm, grab my jet box and go have some fun!! should i be expecting something else??
  11. Geez, there are so many mixed feelings and opinions about this topic. I guess everybody has their own riding style. I dont mind if the powerband is a lightswitch as long as its predictable, which right now its not even close, and i also live with the understanding that its 2 stroke, and if i want lowend power i should buy a lawnmower, i just dont want to loose anymore bottom end. all and all i just need more power, Soon as i get a call back from FAST ill make my descision. I have been riding this thing since 2001 and its time for a big change!!
  12. Im running 16cc domes with leaded 110fuel, and im runnin my timing plate at +5 degrees, the stroke is still stock.
  13. Well guys, this is what I wanted to hear!! The only thing ive got goin is this, At this time I have 3 sets of stock cylinders, The first set I had mildly ported, didnt make enough power, so I bought another set, Had them ported for the trails, not enough power, so on set 3 now dune ported, a little closer to where i want to be, but now with no bottom end whatsoever, the problem is that this thing is that its always wrung out completly, so the plan was going with the unported cubs to keep the low end and put on some more up top. ???
  14. Thanks for the input guys, im thinkin im gonna run it and see how it is, hell, its just money!! If i end up shopping for pipes and another carb setup ill live!! how is this setup gonna be in the trails? they are fairly open with plenty of WOT space, I have recently read that this setup is not worth a s*** in the trails?? I mostly ride agressively in the trails, and any hill i can find to ride up!
  15. Hey guys, gettin some crankshaft rattle finally and im thinkin its finally time to add some power, ive been looking at the 68mm Cub cyls. with a 4mm crankshaft. Ive got a 35cv. setup and SST pipes. Im wondering how this is all gonna work?? most everyone iv seen run these uses big twin carbs, just wonderin how well the Cub will work with the carb and pipe setup im using? im interested in the setup, just not happy bout replacing the carb and pipes yunno, any help would be great, thanks, Ryan

Well guys, the worst you could do is laugh at me, but i ride in sand alot and my wheelies tend to get a bit high, on 5 occasions now ive had my silencers pack tight with sand!! not a major delema but i a bit of an inconvienece none the less. Im looking at shortening Them 4 inches but dont know for sure if the shortening willl effect the performance?? any Ideas? Thanks Guys, any input would be great!! Ryan

Hey guys, im trying to get rid of a few thing, they are as follows, and im open to offers on these things, they are all from an 02 Banshee: -cylinders-nice porting for mid/top end by On Point Motorsports of Minnesota, these cylinders have less than 2 gallons of 110 leaded mix with 2R and are perfect. they are .020 over and are wall clearanced for Pro-lites, the porting was a bit to pitchy for trails where I need low and mid range, but do great in mid to top end. Im looking for about 300.00$ for the pair shipped. -factory stator and flywheel-got some hours on them but worked well when removed, went to 200watt RS setup. $50.00 -factory carbs/flanges-with boost bottle, clamp ons and stock cages with Boyesen 2 stage reeds, tors and throttle cable, all in good shape, im open for offers on these, worked good when removed.would like to keep them all together. Let me know if your interested and ill give you more info, also im workin on pictures, my camera is not workin. Thanks, Ryan Also, im open to offers on these things.
  20. Got sst's, i think that they are great for a good all around pipe, solid in the lows, strong in the mids and highs, the finish seems to hold up well to.
  21. HEY GUYS, IM LOOKING AT GETTING SOME NEW PIPES TO SHOOT FOR MORE POWER. IM CURRENTLY RUNNING SST'S AND MY MODS ARE LISTED BELOW. I PRIMARILY RIDE TRAILS AND HILLS, ANYBODY GOT ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT TO RUN? MONEY IS NOT MUCH OF AN ISSUE. LOOKING AT LRD AND PAUL TURNER, BUT THERE ARE SO MANY CHOICES IM NOT SURE WHERE TO GO. IM VERY HAPPY WITH MY SST'S BUT IM GUESSING THERE ARE FAR BETTER CHOICES FOR MY RIDING STYLE. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!! THANKS, RYAN
  22. I ran over 4 years and 1700 gallons of fuel with open k&n filters, and a boost bottle, intake boots still look like new when i went for the 35CV setup, so I would have to say bah to the theory of boost bottle damaging the boots!! just my 2 cents
  23. Hey guys, not sure where to go on gears with my current mods? right now im at 15-41 and the locals are telling me im all wrong! Its faster than everything else around, but I was told with some gearing that it could be much more? any suggestions? or are the slow guys just blowing smoke up my ass? thanks, Ryan

  25. Hey guys, ive got an 02 shee, its getting to piston and ring time again and im thinkin that shee could use a bit more ass. Ive got SST pipes, prodesign head with 17cc domes, i run 110 leaded fuel 32:1 with 2R oil, its mildly ported and has clamp on KandN's,its goy boyesen reeds, im running a stock rear sprocket and a 15t in front, ive got a billet impeller and a toomey radiator, im looking at going with the vitos 404 kit, the trinity 35MM 2 into 1 cv setup, some new reeds and a 2 degree key, any feedback would be nice, anyone running a similar setup? i ride trails, hills, dunes and a bit of everything, thanks guys
