  1. Stock jetting and i do know somebody with a banshee but not 02-06 his is 92 i believe. Is there any way to make it work to swap with his cdi?
  2. Ive done basically everything you said. Going to take out the drain plugs in the bowls of the carbs now. Im located western pa area
  3. Everything is right other than the only thing im not sure of is the bracket your talking about that has the 2 phillips head screws ill have to check that when i get home. I believe its right but ill have to check that for sure
  4. Pouring fuel into both cylinders. Tried swapping plug wires and it didnt follow the wire. It has brand new reeds and reed blocks. Cylinders were just done by millenium technologies. Also new pistons and rings. New crank seals done as well. I got it and it wasnt running at all.
  5. Basically just like the title says bashee wont start without pouring fuel into or a shot of starting fluid and once it does run it only runs on one cylinder and backfires out of the other. Tested stator, pickup coil, plug wires/caps. Both plugs spark. Has compression. Carbs are clean. Definitely seems to be running lean when it does run. Cylinder that isnt firing plug is wet after. Did leak down test all good there. Any ideas?
  6. Thanks i appreciate the help i read somewhere on here that there is a guide to build your own leak down tester. Im gonna look for that and give it a try.
  7. Ive checked just about everything. I put in new reeds(not new reed blocks just reeds) It was “blown up” from somebody running straight gas in it so that why im asking about crank bearings and seals because i know the cylinders are good. Only thing that is making me not think that is there isnt any noticeable noise when it is running. Also when it is running it will only run on the left cylinder most of the time.
  8. Pistons are in right and so is the crossover tube. Is it possible that the crank seals between the two cranks are bad? Heard that online elsewhere.
  9. Im working on a banshee for a buddy. Did new top end, new reeds, brand new oem carbs and a few other small things. It will not suck fuel in from carbs. Can out my hands of the intakes and kick and it will eventually pull in and start. Wont idle without half choke. Sprayed some starting fluid around crank seal did not change anything. Has 125 compression on both sides. Any ideas?
  10. Im working on a banshee for a buddy of mine. Its a 2006. Did a top end rebuild and a few other small fixes. It didnt run when i started working on it. Put it all back together and even put brand new oem carbs on it. It will not suck fuel out of the carbs. The bowls fill but thats it. If you put your hand over the back of carb you can feel that there is no vacuum being made. Any ideas on what my problem could be? (It will start with a shot of ether but will not idle)
