Oh and a raptor 700 got stuck in a sand wash ...and I had to help push him out ...then I started the banshee rode right through ...lol this thing leaves tornado clouds lol -
2nd time riding...1st with thumb throttle ..This banshee is a rocket viper ...Funniest thing ever. Who needs reverse. You just give it gas and slide it wherever you need it. Such a drift monster ... and I’m use to a drz400e which is a Tank. So the banshee didn’t wear me out ... But the trip wasn’t a problem free I have some questions( shifting is crazy a lot more though )didn’t stall didn’t foul a plug ...rode about 50 60 miles 1) After the banshee gets hot ...The kickstart gets stuck and I have to yank it ...to open it for a kick .... I’ve tried WD-40 and silicone spray any recommendations .. 2) the brakes suck stopping sucks with so much power. I still have brake pad And the fluids okay... I’ve also noticed that you really have to put your foot down to engage break is there adjustment ... Any recommendations to make the brakes better 3) one of the plastics for the front fender guard Almost touches the expansion chamber and the other side it doesn’t normal or something shifty with my plastics...got some plastic melt ....lost bolt on ride 4) are the wheels small on the banshee for a reason. I need a new set. The tires on wifeS warrior are huge. Any reason for the smaller wheels. Thanks guys

Question on buying a Banshee.
Doom400 replied to JerzOutlaw350's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Why don’t you just match the vin with the pink slip then Check the dudeS driver license to see if it matches the name on the pink slip ...that’s what I do ... Years ago I almost bought a 400ex but checked the pink and the vins didn’t match .. I always have problems with people magically losing the pink slip when i show up ... Before I even drive anywhere I ask several times do you have the pink slip is under your name do the vins match -
Ok that seems to be like mine ...I can let my ocd rest a little ...can’t wait to ride this thing ...all the trails in my area of so cal have been closed..And I bought this banshee during this corona stuff ...so I’ve just rode it once in some orchids boring ...spent a bunch of money to fix it and have been going crazy Staring at it ...I’ll post after I ride it ...Saturday

Just Did 4 easy kicks sitting down With choke out ...started on the 4th (normal?)....,taking her out 2nd time this Sunday ....on actual trails ...I’m wondering how the banshee will compare to my wife’s warrior on the same black diamond trails I’ve ridden before ( reason i installed thumb throttle) twist was sketch and I’m a dirtbike guy

just got this atv ... Rode it once .... After that it started leaking a lot of gas out the overflow...and water pump was leaking in the trans .... So the dealer went through rebuilt both carbs all new parts.$$$and fixed the water pump ...so everything should be good ....(how do your guys banshees start) cold 1 kick 3!kicks ... You guys have a certain routine To starting ....or just pull choke and go crazy kicking ?
-
New to banshees... I recently acquired a banshee And had both carbs serviced by the dealer. After sitting a week or so it takes me about 10 kicks to get it started. Is this normal. is there any tricks. I know with my xr400 there was certain ways to get it started right away. After the banshee is started it runs great ... Just a little worried about trail reliability if I stop and can’t kick it over again (Carbs were rebuilt by Yamaha dealer )

Do I have to replace the old twist cable kit... My shop told me to get one, but I’m talking to the guy at the front desk not the actual mechanic and I don’t really know if I need one ..: At work kind of tough to figure this out. Can someone please if they have the time just post a link to a cable kit and a billet or 400 eX thumb throttle thank you. Oh and what the fuck is the torr system ... Do I need a kit to eliminate that ... or is this already done because I’m twist throttle With all electrical not there -

Twist vs thumb throttle for jumping the banshee
Doom400 posted a topic in General Banshee Discussion
Hello I am used to my wife’s Yamaha warrior and feel pretty safe jumping it with the thumb throttle. I just got a banshee with a twist throttle And noticed that the perch is cracked. Do you guys think a thumb throttle is better for Black diamond quad trails and track jumping. I noticed on the banshee And my fathers LTZ 400 that landing with the twist throttle is no fun. Just want your guys opinion I’m getting this thing ready -
Finally rode the banshee that I took a gamble on. It was the funnest experience I’ve ever had on a motor vehicle. A lot tougher, More work on the trails then other ATVs I ride .but the thrill alone was worth it. First gear is useless this thing wants to Wheelie so hard. Anyways I recently changed the transmission oil and it was a gray color ... I was told to run it and see if I have any cooliant loss ... There was none. And the transmission oil is still a gray color. Just asking opinions before I change the water pump seal. Rather than that the ATV ran great shifted great I’m very happy with the banshee ... Definitely a learning curve though (thanks) just asking opinions. I got a shop down here that’ll change everything for 180 I was going to take it today. I don’t wanna waste the money if it’s just because I didn’t flush the oil and just changed it thanks. (I’m trying to up Load a picture but it says the quality is too big.

Quick help Castro 927 mixing with yamalube
Doom400 replied to Doom400's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I searched before I posted. And some other two-stroke owners over the Internet. think their bike will implode if they mix different types of two-stroke oil. I’ve done it on my daughters LT 80 with no problem. But with this nice banshee I want to be careful....Something about Castro 927 not being able to mixed with yamalube Because one’s a synthetic and one’s a semi synthetic some shit like that
