  1. Basically I can push all the air bubbles back into the tank but if I let it sit for 5 mins or run it they all come back as you can see in the pic. It still runs perfectly fine but there are big gaps of air and no gas in the lines at some points. But it still runs good.
  2. Well, I decided to pull the filters off and look in the carbs, the slides never get stuck. But I did notice the idle screws were off quite a bit from each other. So I adjusted them so they were even and I have not had the problem since, Idk if this fixed it or something else, but yea.
  3. I mix 32:1 with AMSOIL Dominator. That is 4 oz per gallon like skeeter said.
  4. Good idea. Thanks for all the help once again appreciate it. Have a good weekend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Just wanted to add, when I was in the bar it got wet I could see water on the quad. I have read on multiple sites with stock carbs sometimes water can cause this to happen, not sure if this is my problem but I have read to take out the slides and clean them and put a little grease on them. Will be trying this.
  6. Well I started a new thread in repairs. Thanks for all the help here guys. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Ok well I have been riding for a few days now, prolly 6 hours on new top end. I have had no problems and it runs strong. I get 130 for comp at 800ft and the leak down test was good only lost a little bit of pressure at 6psi for 6 mins. But last night, I was riding earlier that day at about 8:00 pm and it was running perfectly fine in about 60 F weather. I decided to go to the bar / gas station we have in my small town and hang out. I was there until about 12:00 in the morning. It was 46 F when I left. I let the quad warm up for about 5 mins since I was riding earlier that day. Then I headed home on the highway. Only rode it for about 3 mins (I live really close). Basically the quad would not idle down whenever it was revved it acted like the throttle stuck and I had to turn the key off and on for it to idle down. I had to stay in 1st the whole time. So I thought it was just the cold weather but I started it today when it was 65 F and it is still doing it. The thumb throttle goes back and returns properly but it acts like it’s stuck and just stays idled up for about 1-3 seconds. My jetting looks good to me, dark brown on the plugs. I had no clue why this would just randomly happen after sitting for 4 hours??? I have a ride on Memorial Day so hopefully it’s something small. What do you guys think? Thanks. Here is a video of what it is doing, you can hear how it will get stuck revved up.
  8. Should I open a new thread for this?
  9. Alright, I’ll have to do this. I decided to upload this video so you can see what I mean. You can hear how it will rev up fine then get stuck at a rpm for about 1-2 seconds. It just started doing this and I have no idea why. It was about 57 when I took this like 10 mins ago. I don’t think I want to do a plug chop with my throttle doing this.
  10. Alright, well I put a brand new cable in when I removed TORS last winter and this was really the first ride I did with it so I don’t think that should be dirty. I am going to take it for a ride today and see if anything changed. Also, to do a plug chop do I have to run it 1-6 pinned or can I just go for a ride and chop the plugs?
  11. Just wanted to get back to you on this. I have been riding for a few days now, prolly 6 hours on new top end. I have had no problems and it runs strong. The only thing I noticed was last night, I was riding earlier that day at about 8:00 pm and it was running perfectly fine in about 60 F weather. I decided to go to the bar / gas station we have in my small town and hang out. I was there until about 12:00 in the morning. It was 46 F when I left. I let the quad warm up for about 5 mins since I was riding earlier that day. Then I headed home on the highway. Basically the quad would not idle down whenever it was revved it acted like the throttle stuck and I had to turn the key off for it to idle down. I had to stay in 1st the whole time. So do you think it did this just cause it got cold sitting outside or do you think something may have went wrong? Just figured I would keep it on this thread, thanks.
  12. what mods?
  13. I ride at about 700-800 ft and on a fresh build with stock heads at a stock bore I get 130. Let er rip
  14. Yea, that’s what I was thinking to
  15. just try to stay away from anything knock off, usually causes problems anyway

  18. I noticed this little sticker on my bars and I can not seem to find anything on them. Think it says Sikk MX, not sure though. Anyone know these bars? I actually really like them.
  19. This is what I am thinking. Thanks for all the help and replies hopefully she runs good.
  20. I know but I could hear and feel the difference so I figured it is correct, plus I had them synced really close by eye but wanted it done right. I know what you mean though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I had them synced a couple weeks ago by a shop for 80$ cause I did not have the tool. I could hear a difference before and after so I think it was done right. Chippewa Motors. So what else should I do before Monday? Thanks.
  22. Well the test is done on the new top end, I can hold 6 psi for 6 mins with losing a little bit of pressure slowly. Sprayed the whole engine with soap and water and could not find air leaking from anywhere. Also decided to do a compression test and both cylinders are around 130 psi. So, do you think the air leak was in the old cylinders and top end or do you think something else caused the hole in the piston? I am running the new setup on Monday so any tips would help. Also added some plug pics for jetting reference. Thanks.
