  1. Guys I have been talking to some of the “builders” that I found out do porting over here just to get more information from them. They said that spark plugs wear alot faster with porting, and that ported motors do not last a long time. Is this true? I mean I am 70% sure it isnt since I cant find the link between porting and spark plugs needing a change more often. But for the ported motors dont last long I am not sure about that. I already ordered the items so there is no going back now, I just wanted to know if this is true.

  2. Start saving up cash now. Expect to spend 1000-2000 on suspension (maybe more because of shipping).

Now thats fucking expensive haha. What kind do you advise me to get? And is it really worth it for me since I ride mostly on pavement but do often go to the dunes?

  3. How much HP do you guys think I will get? I got ported OEM cylinders with Wiseco pistons coolhead and 21 cc domes with t9 pipes and k&n filter. Jetting is probably gonna change with these additions + winter coming up but its currently 280 mains. I'd say its about 60hp or so? I may be wrong so please correct me.

  4. I think it's a good deal, the only way you were going to beat the 700's was with pipes and porting and you'll have that. The last big mod's for the future if you want to go even further is bigger carbs or make a stroker. Get a good baseline for your jetting from Driveline and you'll be surprising your friends really soon!

I think I am gonna go for timing plate and vforce reeds next. Jetting is hopefully gonna get sorted but its quite a big issue for me.

  5. I have been talking to quite a few sponsors and will likely order from driveline performance a pair of used OEM cylinders and Wiseco pistons with a coolhead and custom domes + porting for about 700$, without shipping. I think its a great deal, what do you guys think?

  6. a cool head with a plate wont put you out front. sounds like you got some tuning issues any ways.  Pro circuits are great pipes, not ideal for long drag racing though.
what county do you live in??

I dont really drag race all day we just occasionally race on pavement. I dont live in a county I live in the city and not in USA. Why’s that?

  7.
The site sponsors on here ship motors to Europe, Middle east, and everywhere in between. They can ship you a whole motor if you'd like without you having to send yours.
I can't estimate shipping, but someone like Redline Racing, or K&T Performance could. I think you mean T6 pipes, they're more of a trail pipe type pipe. If you ride on open pavement you could probably get an aggressive dune port and run Shearers or Sniper exhaust. I'd suggest calling, Facebook messaging, e-mailing, or whatever form of communication you'd like to a builder. They'll work with you and your price range

Oh thats awesome thanks dude! And I really have T9 pipes I dont know if you never heard of them but they’re pretty popular here. Sorry for the silly question but by site sponsor who do you mean?

  8. Besides different exhaust, there is nothing you can do.

Where are you located? Shipping a motor is very easy and less expensive than you'd think.

Im nowhere near America, I live in a country almost 7000 miles away from america. For the exhaust part, is a t9 not that good? I had pro circuits and still have them but i think they have something wrong with them it bogs with them. How much do you estimate shipping to be? And for porting, I mostly ride on pavement so what porting would I get?

  9.
I think you should call a builder.

Also, you'll likely still be beat unless you get into porting.

Porting isn’t really possible for me since there isn’t anyone that does it and i really dont know how to ship my engine to a builder. Do you have any mods to add other than timing plate and cool head with 21cc domes to beat the raptors?

  10. JFC.... Why listen to the "garage"

The garage has been working with ATVs for years longer than me and knows much more. But I am not listening to him hes just telling me what he thinks would be better and I will do what I think is right at the end of the day. I dont think i will put 22CC domes I will put 21CC but as for the timing plate i dont really know might put 5. What do you think I should do?

  11. So I just talked to a garage today, he has American cool heads which apparently dont have a manufacturer name on them and Vitos cool head. He says that 22cc domes would be better for me with stock pistons but i will put 21cc. For the timing plate he recommends +5 and i dont really know if i should go 4 or 5. As for other mods im thinking of vforce reeds 3 or a clutch. Hopefully Ill beat my friends intake+exhaust+tune raptor 700 after Im done or I will really be upset

Great! Thanks for the help. Ill be doing a plug chop tomorrow and will post pics here that hopefully if you have time could have a look at them because I really dont know how to read plugs

  13. I'm running 265s with a 29 main at 500asl. Also dune ported and stroked. Seems like your mains are to rich. Did you plug chop

also would you recommend me to go 27.5 pilot or should i stay at 25?

  14. I'd start by plug chopping. If to rich. Go down. Did you do any work to cause this problem?

Well I was bone stock about 1 year ago and it was perfectly fine with no bog then I bought a used pro circuit exhaust that had a wierd noise when you move its right pipe up and down but i thought its nothing then i put it on with 280 mains and it bogged like hell so after about 6months i bought brand new t9 pipes from the box to replace it and thought why not put the newer 280s as well. It helped alot but it still bogs a little.
