It was 1600 for labor to do the complete rebuild and i provided A complete parts package for the build "TURN KEY" is how it was supposed to be returned to me but that did not happen lol. I do not even know what jets are in it because he is the one who put them in. I can pull the carbs off and find this information out. As canadianshee said i have not done any leak down test or anything and i can also provide a complete lits of the parts on my bike and mods. I just need to type them all up and i will do that now. I am willing to buy a leak down test kit for banshee i am litterally willing to do what ever it takes to get my shee correct!

Wow This banshee is kicking my ass, my 06 is for sure a problem child. I think my carbs may be my issue. I have stock carbs on my banshee I paid a shop 1600 bucks to do the work on my bike and since i got it back the thing has not run like I expected it to. First it was super rich fouling plugs like crazy then i took it back and it ran good for a few mins then would brake up. I finally said fuck that shop cut my loses and started to work on it myself. I have stock carbs on the bike with a vitos tors delete kit. I resyncd the carbs using the window on the side of the carb and it ran ok but now it seems only one pipe is getting hot and its not smoking from the other pipe. I am thinking about pulling off the stock carbs and trying to get them setup/jetted correctly but another option would be to buy a whole new carb setup. I also am willing to go to a 2 into 1 carb setup since i feel like it would be very easy to get running good. I have a carb model yfz and it runs great and the carb seems to never give my problems i wish my banshee ran as well as my yfz as i have sunk alot of cash into this banshee and it still doesnt run right. Im looking for suggestions on what you guys can recommend i do. Im willing to take the stock carbs off and go through them and make sure they are all set to spec if that is what you guys think is a good starting point.

Ok cool because i read the manual and the setting it was giving was for the evol with 2 chambers and i did not see it talk about the single chamber pressures.
-
yea they came with a pump, right now they are set at 50 psi and they came like that out of the box tomorrow I will learn how to set the sag and adjust the pressure for my weight 240 lbs.

Got them done, also got my new headlights installed just need to wire them up.

Ok guys i broke out the air grinder and a carbide bit, I cut clearance into the bottom flate plate that sits under the shock. I also had to make clearance on the shock mount for the shock to sit without hitting when the suspension is fully unloaded. I test fitted one shock and its good to go. I spray painted the areas with a matching silver so prevent any rust where i cut into the a arms. Will post some pictures when i get done!
-
Ok so i am installing the shocks right now and ran into an issue, It seems the bottom mount on the A arm does not allow the ball to sit into the mount. I guess you have 2 options grind off the shock which I am not gonna do or cut into the A arm. any one have any pictures of a modified stock arm for floats?

I used to carry a 19. I carry a 34 now. It's damn nice with the smaller frame. I would consider a 26, the sub compact with 10+1 it still has good capacity.
-
I am going to post up pictures when I get it all installed this is the last picture I took of my shee, I have replacement trail tech lights on the way. My brothers yfz is the blue and the yellow one and the banshee is mine.
-
Yea I figured I might as well go with the full fox shock setup, its a little pricey but fuck it I'm gonna do it.
-
My carry gun is a glock 19, I carry it in a kydex holster but I will admit i would like a little bit smaller gun for everyday carry.
-
Wow, Great looking bike! they shipped today and I messaged them today and got my answer about the guards and they do come with the shocks. I am looking at the fox rear shock and its like $850 I want to get it but I want to buy wheels/tires for my shee first.
-
Ok last thing i need to figure out is if i should order those guards that lowflyin has at the bottom of his shocks i see atvgalaxy has them listed on there own for like 50 bucks but im not sure if mine will come with them.
-
Ok just ordered them, Only thing im wondering now is if i need to buy those guards and do i need to buy a pump for the shocks
-
That was gonna be my next question lol ok im gonna order them from atv galaxy now ! Thanks for the info man
