  2. I live on Long Island, Basically at sea level. i have 280 jets installed right now. For the winter and snow riding should i change the jets? and if so, what size do i go with? Thanks All!
  3. i dont want to over pay, what is a fair price to have 2 cylinders bored? i am having a hard time finding a shop to do it, all i can find is people who want to take it and have it done.. but they are adding their fee and then dropping it off somewhere else to do..
  4. i never had the top end open or changed. isnt stock size 64??
  5. I want to buy the top end kit. The banshee top end is stock right now, never been changed. i want to keep it simple, basic top end change. Can someone tell me from the chart which one to buy. i heard it is .25 over to 64.25 but i just want to be 100% sure. (i dont know if any upgrades i had done to the bike will affect which size to go up to but this is what has been done so far; vforce 4 reeds, fmf fatty golds, tors removed, jet kit, pro design flow with K&n) here is the link to wiseco... http://www.wiseco.com/ProductSearch.aspx Thanks all

  8. that exactly what it looks like and is. black rubber tubing. i just couldnt figure out where it goes... dealer was last person to work on...
  9. I posted about this yesterday. I thought i had the answer but i cant find out where it suppose to go.. it is a small piece, roughly 1/4 inch long i found it on the vent hose tube, loose not attached to anything when i took the clutch cover off..
  10. this is the piece anyone know where this goes?? it was inside water pump/vent hose cover
  11. Not the actual hose. On the vent hose was a small black rubber piece. A half or quarter inch long
  12. Where does that little black rubber piece go? It was on the vent hose by the pump in the clutch cover.. I'm trying to upload a pic but it's saying it's too large a file.. Thanks
  13. you seem like you dont like the idea of just trying to take out the seal. I dont want to rig it or cause damage because i took a shortcut.. In your opinion, should i just remove the whole shift shaft??
  14. Thanks for all tips and advice, much appreciated. and yes im only changing because crank seal is leaking.
  15. Can I change the seal (#7) without removing the whole shift shaft assembly? I read the clymers and it looks fairly easy to remove the whole assembly, but i was wondering of i can just change (the shifter side) seal by pulling it out without taking the clutch out of the other side...? Thanks all
  16. OK cool, What type of grease? if any do i put on the oil seal, collar & sprocket while installing the new one?
  17. i am replacing front sprocket too, should i also change the bearing, collar & circlip 1 ? (30, 31 & 32) or is the bearing not something i can change without opening it up?? Thanks
  18. Is it OK or is it recommended to install the new oil seal behind the front sprocket without splitting the case? I didn't see anything in my Clymers about this, just tells me where it is located... I heard both yes and no's.... Im hoping to get a professional answer. FYI, I am not looking for a temporary fix I want to do it right. Thanks
  19. I am in Babylon Do you know of any companies that will bore/hone ??
