  1. ah, I feel dumb...was the Cdi. . . Now dealing with a overheating issue, assuming she to lean. Hopefully going bigger on the mains will fix the issue! Ty ALL!!!
  2. Is it possible for the flywheel to be bad even if it dont rattle? Can a Chinese brain an coil foul plugs? I'm not the smartest but its crazy...cant say for sure plugs are fouled but unusable after dies...new plugs it fires up...Its riding season an missing rides over something dumb..
  3. Was the same issue before rebuild. Didnt even need rebuilt, just did it because I thought it was the problem. Yes. I've tried stalling it an restarting, Tried bypassing key just to try it..always the same. Kill it, wont start until new plugs..its crazy. Ran this issue across many local ppl an tried almost everything.
  4. 90 Banshee Havent needed ya'lls help in 4 years, gotten pretty good with jetting an rebuilding her an stuff but I'm mind boggled an spent a bunch of money only to get no-where. So I got this wierd issue, she runs an starts fine but soon as you kill it she fouls a plug it seems like. Put new plugs in her she fires right up an then when u kill it an instantly try to kick it again she's dead. New plugs, shes good again until dead.... Shes got good compression, just put her back to standard. Tested stator ohms are almost all in spec. New stator not oem but it reads ignition 22.5, pickup 112.5, lighting 038..ignition is alittle high. New brain not oem, new coils not oem, only thing I havent replaced is the flywheel but it seems tight an dont hear anything loose when shake it. Timing plate back to 0 right now until figure out the problem, I've tried 2,3,4, didnt solve didnt problem. Jetting is pilot 27.5 with 300 jets cause that's where it should be to me..went all the 360, 10 at a time trying to maybe lean it out. Thinking maybe it was to rich fouling plugs. Running klotz 40:1 at the moment. Can add more details if need but honestly I think it's a electrical problem that I cant cure. Eye is in spec. Just got Kevin's wiring harness with no tors/no park brake didnt help any but it is a nice harness. Another thing I may note is that when you kick it over with the spark plug out you dont see any spark, even with fresh plugs. But screw them in an fires instantly until kill motor...so mind boggled..aggravated.. I've read everything on here an search but seen noone with this wierd problem.. Thanks to anyone that respond's or is able to help me.

  7. I'm bored over 30, just figured more oil would be good..I'll go up to 32:1 though. So 1-3rd plug chop would still leave the plugs white? Didn't have much room to stretch her out but I will next week. Ordered #360 mains to see if I can richen it up.
  8. Supertechniplate with 93 octane..just figured alittle more oil wouldn't hurt :\ Didn't think it mattered as long as you were jetted for it?
  9. Update: The pipes are on an they sound/Look great. Have a question about the jetting though. I did a plug chop 1st-3rd and the spark plugs were white no color at all. #320 main jets in it now. I'm at sea level running klotz 28:1, toomey needle in 4th slot with all the mods listed. Should I jump up to like a #360 main jet to get a chocolate/black ring during plug chop?

  14. Finally got my T5's today from Hsdracing and they already have alittle rust in the expansion chambers, is this normal? Also they have big dumb welds all over it. Never had aftermarket pipes so idk if rust is normal, I expected brand new pipes for that price..
  15. Should but, it gets stuck and I'm afraid that's it's going to strip the threads or worse. I have forced it to around 2 turns but it's so hard to turn that it's scary.
  16. Waiting patiently for my pipes to come in this week. Been talking to a few people an everyone suggested around 320 mains to start an do plug chops to see where I'm at. Anyways, instead of making a new thread just figured I'd ask it here.... Seems like I'm the only person in the world that their air screw won't back out? Can't find anyone with this problem. Why would my air screw back out 1.5 turns an then stop? The bike is tuned in at the moment but, about to re-tune when these pipes come.

  18. So I plan on buying T5s next pay check. Was wondering if this perfect jet kit really is going to be perfect? Have read in some places to keep your stock needles an some say don't and ect...an I think it comes with #280 #290 mains. It is like $60 more to buy all that other stuff besides the pipes. Should I just buy the chrome pipes and order the mains separately? The needles I have it now are Vito an their not that good vs the stock needles but, bent the stock needles so stuck with them. So maybe toomey needles are better? Haven't update my mods in awhile so here is where I'm at now: Vito needles,27.5 pilot, 260 mains,VForce4 reeds,Ehs Racing Lid, TORS..and I run somewhere between sea level-300 in 70-100 degree weather. 32:1 Klotz Scared of wasting money and the needles be junk and I end up needing #300 or higher mains. Sorry if left anything out its 3 in the morning.. any advice would help. Thanks
  19. What electric grease you guys suggest I could put on all my wires an stuff? Hopefully something I can find at a local store. My bike is running really great now is except when hit a puddle of water it goes kinda stupid for a minute, not sure but I think water is hitting the coil or something. Also when it's 90+degrees my bike runs good but, soon as it gets dark an drops to like 70 degrees my bike starts loading up an backfiring.....should I drop down 1 jet size?   23. I fixed it!!!!! I was re-routing my throttle cable cause I didn't like the way someone had did it and it was rubbing against the little wires on the side of the cdi box and 1 of the wires was loose and I pushed it in an it went CLICK! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  24. Well I got it sealed tight, definitely sounds better but it still stutters at the top of the rpm. Hope it's not my stator...guess I'll hunt down a 0EM stator and see if that's it.....was also thinking maybe my carbs went alittle out of sync when I installed the new cable?
