  1. I was thinking the same zilla He told me everything to get except the pipes, already had em and read good things about low end and broad powerband but understand they may not breath enough for my set up.
  2. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?/topic/156767-4mm-serval-dyno/
  3. content://media/external/file/1325 I saw a few dyno runs on bansheehq comparing pipes on the serval and the pro circuits seem to make the most power over cpi and others tested.
  4. Im usually close to my gas tank and i usually only run threw a half a tank already. Dont get to ride much. Ya i was looking for that bottom end cus my buddies polaris predator was killing me off the line and out of the corners. I just put on some +1+3 arms works front shocks and tusk wide hubs so those should help catch em in the corners too. I kept going up on two wheels in the turns with stock setup. If these pro circuits seem to choke it up like im reading then i might see if i can grab some R2's.... Thoughts? Second choice is CPI's. (i have no experiance in either, just what i have read)
  5. Sooo, how do u guys like your Serval's??? I know this is an old thread but im building a serval and saw couple of you were in the process of biulding sevral's years ago and someone kept saying, "once they are out for a while then more will be known" or something like that. Well share the knowledge. Im rebiulding my 91 into one now. Putting 35.5 big bowl mikuni flatslides on it, trued and weld stock crank stock stroke, fast head with 19cc domes(running half 91 half c12 klotz 40:1) getting pro mod done to tranny and heavier springs put on stock clutch. And putting on a pair of pro circuits. I see in the thread a lot of ppl looked down on the trail pipe and would like to hear a later input on it. I will be dynoing this quad after its done in a week or so.
  6. If i grab these other carbs that dont have then then i will need some. Plz shoot me info. Buying today or tom.
  7. Are these also known as airstrikers?
  8. Extra cooling area maaan, would be a sick set up to see.
  9. U have pictures of the dents on the pt mids? "Some dents" just made me think they weren't the best of shape but if they rn't bd i will consider.
  10. Trav if your still out there man, shoot me your paypal account so i can get these from ya
  11. I see what your saying, better to clog one side up slowly than burn it up quickly, right? Surprisingly enough besides changing the needles and jets i havent tuned anything else on the carb and it started rite up and idled perfect. There is to much talking and not enough riding rite now to give a full report. Live in the city and watch my baby girl all day. If it gernades ill be on the wanted list for some ported jugs. If this cool head deal falls threw, ill need one of those soon.
  12. Zilla, again i did lots of research on it. If u read this thread i have said many times what im aiming for and even in particular what a couple of the things i did to improve towards that. I dont suggest messing with the exhaust hieght unless u r a pro though as it is advised all over the internet. The intake windows u just want big and no sudden angles leaving it a rough surface so that air/fuel mixture wont stick to the surface. The transfer ports are angled a certain way so u want to taper towards that not make them as big as possible. The boost ports like i mentioned before help bottom end but make em too big and you have to rienforce the outside with jb weld or welding it. Just cleaning up the casting flaws alone is supposed to help a lot, even a brand new engine.
  13. After porting it out it does a little @ the top and just in case the the piston wants to fly out the bottom end you want as little resistance as possible!!! ; )
  14. Also shes the one that works and pay's the most of the bills why i stay home with the baby and work weekends. Do what you gotta do!
  15. It say's the file size is too big... Must be her tits ; )
