So i bought #30 pilot jets for my mikuni carb and i look to comoare them with my #25's and they look exaclty the same.. so then i compare all three and the look identical except one says 25 the ither 27.5 and the other 30... am i getting ripped off? I got them from ebay they are niche.. and thats what my banshee for cylinder walls so i trusted them ..but take a look They are in order from 25-30

The idler gear is the one right next to the kickstart gear the bushing wears out and start making gear on gear grinding noise, take the kickstart gear of and inspect if it has play when on the shaft, also for the clutch you know its adjusted when it is as easy to push the bike in neutral as to pushing the bike in gear with the clutch lever in
  8. Check your idler gear bushing
  9. Adjust your clutch check for clutch wear
  10. Wow its weird it runs good : to my knowledge it is lean, try a plug chop its better to spend 4-5 dollars on plugs rather than 300-500 on a rebuild

  12. Turns out it was the tie rod, it wasnt bolted all the way onto the a arm*
  13. I had the same exact thing... turns out it was the tie rod that was bolted in to the a arm
  14. What hes means is youre running lean which usually means that your engine will soon seize.... which i would agree to a certain point..
  15. Just ordered #30 jets so somtime next week ill do another plug chop

  18. Its not the ring that worring me right now its that fact that it only has a "dot" of smoke as if it only fired once obviously it dodnt sonce i went through all gear and held it for 4-5 seconds at wot in override

  23. Thats exactly how i did it and it looks just a tad lighter the only thing is that it boggs between 1/8 to maybe 3/8 throttle but ill go buy a dremel today thanks!

So i just did a "plug chop" on my banshee minus the actual chop since i dont have a grinder or dremel with me right now and want to make sure im not going crazy...but. is it me or am i runnig way too lean? I have fmf gold series K&N pods with outerwear 27.5 pilot 290 main Needle in 4th position No leaks Compression is 112psi with snap on tester 3700 elevation and its 54°F Air idle screw is at 2 turns out
