I had like 25 slips, They were on the counter and my wife threw them away. I did manage to find 3 or 4 slips. The quickest I could find was a 8.2. I did run 8.0 and some change though. R/T = .524 60' = 2.476 330 =5.277 1/8 = 8.237 MPH = 81.05

+6 swingarm, The bike has stock shocks all the way around. It has not been lowered.

Stock Gearing, Full drag port, 35.5 mikunis (Gas) CPI out of frames, Wiseco Hot Rod Crank Trued and welded, Cases matched, Wiseco Pro lites 40 over, K&T head 18CC Domes, Timing +10, K&N Clamp ons. I am guessing with slicks I could pull a 1.8, 1.9 60 foot time and get into 7.5-7.8 territory. Just a guess, but I could be wrong. I finally ran my shee on pavement. MY best time was 8.0 . I had 22x11x8 Turf tamers on it. It spun waaaay to much. My 60 foot time was 2.6-2.8. If I get slicks, what do you think I can drop my time to.

ANy rated Oil is going to be more than sufficient to lubricate those gears. Myself, I use Yamaha Trans Oil PLus.

Stay away from the Toomey. I had problems with it brand new right out of the box. Toomey warranteed the clutch 2 times. Still a hunk of shit. I bought a dirt digger, and it worked right the 1st try.

I bought my new truck last year, well really the wife drives it. I have a 99 Grand AM GT Coupe I am trading in this month. I am going to get a Subaru Imprezza WRX. It is pretty cool, not the fastest by any means, but is is a 227 Turbo charged 4 cyl, and it is AWD (All Wheel Drive).

Hell, since everyone likes t5's so much, buy mine for 375 plus shipping.

There is nothing wrong with fatty's. I had them on my 96 and was beating alot of other so called "good pipes". I run Toomeys now. I am looking to run CPI.

Last year, 95% MX, 5% drag racing. This year after my monster mods, 100% drag racing.

I'd ride anything on wheels! (Except a dick).. If you are talkin about MX, it is all the rider. If you are talkin drag racing, it is mostly all machine. The only art to drag racing is holeshotting and getting the shifts down. If the ride is fast enough, the power will compensate for lack of riding ability.

Oops, didn't see that Bologna. Hey Nightrider, I know with you being a mustang man, you must have seen this article. It was in one of the mustang mags about 2-3 years ago. They took a bone stock 5.0 and added a turbo from a peterbuilt truck, granted they fabricated some of their own mounting brackets and whatnot, but that car was running 10.5, mostly stock!! That was a sweet article, did you ever see it?
