Well I'm glad to see I'm not the only one to run into the problem. Like I said, I felt stupid asking about it because I knew how it was supposed to work but it wouldn't hah. And idk if they were oval, but more square. Then again, they could've just had burrs on them and I wasn't looking close enough. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Lol yea most likely! And that's what I'm doing right now. Using carb cleaner and air. Those shavings get everywhere! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Sweet. Thanks for the info. Figured I'd get a bunch of smart ass replies on here Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Another question....lol. Is it possible to not file enough off the side of the carb? I've got them nice and flat but didn't know how far to go.. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Both of them weren't round. I drilled out the hoke in the adjuster just enough for them to slide thru. I just didn't want to see anything up Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

That's what I am trying to do. The cable end doesn't fit. Can I drill it out? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

How do I get the cable into the adjuster? I feel stupid asking this, but I can't figure it out. .... Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

I bought it used off eBay for 6 bucks. I didn't realize it didn't have the metal pieces on it. Never been around these type of kill switches because I usually ride 4 stroke quads and have never messed with changing that shit because I don't race or anything. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk -

I only paid 6 bucks for the switch lol. Yea, I'm missing the metal tabs that go around the bars. I would search for them but I dunno what they're called Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk -
I just bought this YZ kill switch and it didn't come with the clamp part. I tried using zip ties bit I can't get it nice and tight. Any ideas on what I could do? Or can I maybe get the clamp part somewhere? Thanks for any help! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

That's what I was thinking about trying. Just find me a small buffing pad with some compound and see what I can do Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Well I got to looking at my harness and I found an area where I think it came in contact with the pipe on that side or something and have bare wires showing. So I went ahead and just pulled the whole thing out and going to see if I can fix it and eliminate some wires while I'm at it. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

I'll have to search around. I'm not expecting them to be like new when I'm done, but I'd like them to shine a little.... If possible Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Is there a good way to clean up my pipes? I just got this Shee and it's pretty dirty and wasn't ever really cleaned it seems. I took some steel wool to the one pipe and was wondering what else I could do. Maybe they're too far gone. Any ideas would be great. Thanks! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Hmmm. Alright maybe I'll go that route but it will have to wait. How do I get ahold of him? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Not sure I wanna spend any money on one when I can just cut it down myself. Am wanting to keep all my lights for night rides at the dunes. But will cut out what all I don't need. I read about relocating the CDI...Where does everyone put it? Or is it just personal preference? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

I know this is an old thread, but I just picked up a banshee and am wanting to cut some bs out of my harness. So, question, do you guys cut all the factory covering off the harness to access the wires easier? And if so, what do you wrap it back up with?? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
-
Right on. That's what I think I'm going to do. I like the clean look. All the factory shit on them is ugly. What should I "gut" off my factory harness? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

I won't be doing any racing so I'm not going to worry about a tether switch. But yea, I hooked a multimeter up to my factory switch and figured out what I'll need. Hoping I can find a nice one off a dirt bike. I would think they're the same as our kill switch but I guess I'll find out Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
