I just finished installing my front Alba LT arms. Im a bit confused on what to do with the washers. The aluminum washers that come with the kit fit fine on the uppper A arm, but they dont fit correctly on the bottom. For those that are running the Alba LT arms, are you running any aluminum washers on the your bottom arms? If so in what position?

I measure the height of the front tire, divide it in half, mark the point @ the 3 & 9 position with a piece of tape so I can replicate precise measurements.
Then I follow this LSR guide for recommended settings.... http://lsracing.com/img/Guide_21.pdf
Using one of theses from Harbor Freight... http://www.harborfreight.com/dial-gauge-angle-finder-34214.html
That's all you need to know!
How much negative camber do you run? I was thinking 1.5-2 degree. Is 1/4 inch toe in kind of the standard?

Hold tight guys I may have a solution that is perfect for what we want and capable temp wise to 1800F. Price will be competitive to. Im going to check out first and see if it works.

Hey guys Im going to install my Alba LT suspension tomorrow night. Im looking for some feedback on best ( or maybe easiest) way to do an alignment to set Toe and camber. I have read some people put a chalk mark line in middle of tire on both fronts and measure in front of bumper, then roll quad back and measure the mark 180 degree back from there. Is this the best method? Also I need to figure out how to do Camber. What degree camber and toe would you guys recommend?

Jeff explained to me that CPI does not include o rings anymore. He is making it right for me. Its not Jeffs fault but for $745 for pipes I would expect a higher quality fit , pipes that actually fit together, decent fit and finish and two Orings included.
-
No, I bought new springs and O rings separate.
Which Orings are you running? Any leaks?
-
No, I bought new springs and O rings separate.
ya springs didnt come with mine but O rings are supposed to come with them.
-
They are tight, but I didn't have an issuie once my expansion chambers were mounted up. I did have some issuies with the clutch side pipe fitting without moving my motor. The left side hit the cool head pretty good, I think I have close to an inch worth of spacers on that side.
Did your CPI pipes come with O rings?
-
Jeff is overnighting some Orings. Anyone else notice that the fit and finish on the CPIs is not that impressive? I couldnt get the silencers to slip on out of the box. To much weld slag and ovality of the pipes to slide over. My silencers looked really bad marks all over them. I am going to polish them up.
-
No O rings in box. I left an email with Jeff ( as that is who I ordered them through).

I just got my CPI pipes in today from FAST, I noticed that there is a grove machined inside the flange of the pipe where it mounts to the cylinders. Is there supposed to be an Oring that goes in there? My Trinity pipes came with an Oring inside that part of the pipe?

Header wrap on the stingers. Need to do it every season because it gets all fucked up

Any reason you do insulation the whole length of the pipe? I figured the only hot spot area is around the pods, correct?
-
I know it will work easy if you go to a round house.
I know a guy that said it will also work on a stock carrier +4 but will be tight.
ya Im going round.
-
I have read a few people say that the stock rear brake line will work on a +4 swing arm. Anyone know if this will work?
-
This could be a decent option. I dont know what the skin temp of the pipe back by the pods is...Im assuming it is under 500F.

Nice Gshock....I have one with same band.

.6 inches longer??
alba and elka told me that the LT kit has 1-1.2 inchs more travel then the ST kit. It is $120 more for LT over ST. For 1 inch more travel that is worth it to me.
-
I just bought a Alba LT setup. It is coming in monday with a LT elka stage 3 setup.
-
this, plus some rear skid plates wont work either with a 44on the rear if my memory is correct.
Im not sure I can even run a skid with Tysons 4+ swing arm setup.

15/44 is not as tight of a turning radius as 14/41. This is the reason. plus more teeth engaged on the sprockets.
15/44 = 2.933
14/41 = 2.929
Interesting..I didnt think about the tighter turning radius. Makes sense that the 15/44 should have some less resistence loss off the front Sprocket vs the 14 tooth.

I am planning on doing new chain/sprockets and my builder recommended 15/44. My stock setup is 14/41...the ratio is the same,,,,why would you want to do 15/44 vs 14/41?

I get temp sleeve from McMaster, works fantastically http://www.mcmaster.com/#7569k13/=11yyuoa

Standard silicone pipe? I am looking for an Inner diamater to use of which size silicone to buy. I dont have my new CPI pipes in yet, but want to have my stuff ready once they show up on monday.
LT vs ST is it worth it for the LT premium on a Banshee?
