  1. Before I had to cover the carbs to get it started because it was sucking air from somewhere else and then it would run fine after I got it started. After I fixed the air leak it would run fine just wouldn't idle. I adjusted the air screw but I think I might have forgot to adjust the idle screw. So I will put the 25 pilot back in and adjust the idle screw and see what happens because with the 30 it's getting to much gas causing it to flood Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. It wouldn't idle with the 25 pilot in after I switched to the 30 it would idle good until the next day it would flood Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Was leaking air now I fixed the air leak it held 6psi for over 30 min. Now when I start it for the first time of the day it's floods. I switched my pilot from 25 to 30 I think I may have went to big. Mods are Athena 392 kit, stock carbs with 320 main and now 30 pilot, bills pipes and boysen reeds Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Ok so I replaced the reed gaskets and replace to clamps to the cross over and leak down tested it again and it held 6psi for longer than 30 min without dropping. Now it's starts right up just have to adjust the carbs now to get them to idle Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Ok thanks for all the help everyone I just did a leak down test and before it got to 6psi I could hear air leaking from the reeds gasket where it bolts to the cylinder. I will check the float bowls and replace the gasket and update after I do Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Ok so nothing that will cause a problem then? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Ok I will do a leak down test sometime this week. Also when I changed my pilot jets I noticed a nettle tube on the bottom of one of the carbs is missing not sure if that's a problem Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I haven't did a leak down test but when I tried my friends carbs on it, it started right up like one or two kicks so I'm thinking it something with my carbs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Yea I put a new tube on it just to make sure
  10. I have good compression getting 150 in each cylinder
  11. Ok I changed my pilot with a 30 and still have the same problem. When I first start it after sitting a day it won't start unless I cover the carbs and kick it a few times then it will start right up and run great. Once I start it it idles good and runs good. Need help what could it be
  12. Ok just ordered some will update when they get here and installed thanks for all the help
