  1. I'll take a look at it. Mine seems to smoke a normal amount on each side, but just one side is too rich.
  2. I have been having a problem with my banshee when I'm riding it. It will run good for 25-45 minutes until it fouls a plug. It's will start to bog out and shut off. The right side, is the side that keeps fouling. I notices at the tip of the silencer, it is very black on the right side and and not on the left side. So I'm thinking the right side is too rich? Any ideas on the problem?
  3. I just did a carb clean before I went out for a ride. Is there any reason why the plugs are fouling every ride? Keep on getting stuck in trails.
  4. I pulled out the plugs and one was dry and the other had oil on it. I wasn't in low enough rpm's, to foul them.
  5. Having a little problem with my shee right now. I'll be riding for about 20-45 minutes then all a sudden it will start bogging out. This problem has happened last 3 rides. Keep changing plugs and that fixes the problem. But it's keeps on happening. Any ideas?
  6. No it should only have the one tube going between them. I had the same problem with my shee.
  7. I never heard of that ever.
  8. It's a more well know company in canada. I only put 5 hours on it and the first time I rode it was A lot more powerful.
  9. Powerfist. Held throttle wide open and that's what I got.
  10. Recently I just fix my banshee. It wasn't starting. I was messing around with carbs and got it going . I got two problems though. It doesn't want to idle, I notice it has less throttle response and is running weaker then it did before. Did a compression test and it is running at 105 on one side and 110 on the other .
  11. Got it running! It seems to feel weak and it's not pulling hard like it used to. Doesn't want to idle ether.
  12. The tip of the compression tester isn't as long as the spark plug. I was told that leaving in one spark plug and holding the throttle wide open is how you should test it. The brand of the compression tester is powerfist.
  13. Only 100psi in each cylinder. Needs top end. Would that cause it from not starting
  14. I'm picking up a compression tester right now
  15. I'll have to go out and get a compression tester tomorrow then or ask my buddies if they got one.
  16. Put gas in the holes and it starts good, then only stays running for 2-5 seconds. Cleaned pilot and main jets. Tank screens are clear. It's not getting gas into the cylinders and won't start in I put quick start through them.
  17. I'll have get a compression tester. It's not getting any gas to the cylinders because they are dry.
  18. I got a 99 banshee that is not getting gas to the heads. I checked the tank screens, jets and choke cross tube. When I put some gas in the spark plug holes it's starts right up and dies when the gas in them are gone. Then I will go to kick it and will not start. Any ideas on the problem?
  19. Still starts with gas poured in spark plug holes and dies after 5 seconds. Just a feul delivery problem. I tryed everything. I'll try and test it if I run out of ideas.
  20. All tubes have gas passing through, jets are good, tank screens are clear and still won't start without putting gas in the heads. I'm going to try new plugs as the spark isn't good .
  21. Did that and the screens were cleared. Took a look at the tube between the carbs and it had gas it in. Might need carbs rebuilt?
  22. Wasn't the gas cap. How would I go about removing the screens for the gas tank?
  23. I got a aftermarket gas cap with a smaller tube on it. I'll give it a look. I noticed it was leaking a little gas from it. I'll see if the tank screens are dirty or clogged also. Thanks for the help. I'll let you know if they fix the problem.
  24. Last time I rode it, I was riding it for about 30 mins then it started to bog out. The same thing happened the ride before that. Right after it dies, I go to kick it and it doesn't start. Once I got back I took a look at the plugs to see if I fouled one and they both looked fine ( put brand new ones in anyways). A few days later I went to start it and it started right up then died in 5 seconds. Then I tryed putting a little gas in each head then it started right up and ran for 15 seconds then died. I then checked the jets and they were clear. The powerband also seemed to be weaker from it starving for gas.
