  1. All set, thanks. I blew through the end of the line and opened up the fuel valve, I felt a good flow circulating. Makes sense how it helps.
  2. You wanna keep the gasket for a good seal, right? Mines still in.
  3. Now does this removal allow for better flow for these bigger engines?
  4. This is off topic here, but I thought I read somewhere that running a shorty hose for your gas cap could possibly lead to meltdown and prevent proper flow of gravity fed fuel? I have a shorty right now but if this is correct ill be ditching it. Also, any insight on aftermarket gas caps?
  5. Went with a Fireball +2+1 Anti vibe stem powder coated gloss black to match frame and cases. Should be here in a week.
  6. Yup, just ordered that today. Thanks.
  7. Bill at BVC racing said the same thing about the bigger clamps coming with the stem. I'll try cr mid bend.
  8. I like half assing things, it keeps me busy always working on shit. I can waste as much time as possible.
  9. Correct me if I'm worng here, but if your goal is to get your bars taller by using different clamp setups, isn't that a cheap way to do it? Vs having the correct stem? That's what I've picked up from opinions about wheel spacers, and 3"/2" wheel offset to cheaply gain some width. Maybe this is different, idk.
  10. I currently have a thumb, so ill stick with that initially.
  11. Yes, 10 mil ss on race fuel
  12. Thanks. Seems like fat bars mid bend will be my choice.
  13. Just talked to Bill at BVC racing, GREAT guy to speak with. Seems like when I upgrade my stem, usually oversized clamps will come with it for the fat bar upgrade. Learned a little bit from this guy. Also he stated that where the bars start to taper, that's when the "Fatty" comes in. The 1''1/8 thickness is more in the center of the bars, then towards the outer section, the standard thickness is used.
  14. No I understand that, but I don't understand your username. [emoji15]
  15. Why is your username that....
  16. ^^^^^^ FullThrottle, What should I consider before choosing bar thickness? Maybe a thicker bar is better for impacts?
  17. Another one now that I'm thinking about it, twist or thumb?
  18. A few questions here to filter my choices on bar setups. I'll be running a +2+1 roll stem, pro taper bars, black ASV F3 shorty levers. 1. Fat 1 1/8" bars or standard 7/8"? Are those the only two sizes? 2. Clamps? 3. Why do peeps run crossbar? Why do they not run it? 4. How do you select the best accommodating bend? I've read low bends work well for jumping. 5. I don't think this is extremely significant, tell me if I'm wrong, but what grips are desirable? 6. Also looking into hand guards, so any input on those would be great as well. I did some research into google. Typed in bansheehq handlebars and ect. Couldn't discover a thread that covered all of these points. Thank you.
  19. You must be pretty serious in the mx game to have a setup like that. Not cheap uh. I don't think I've seen pics of your bike yet
  20. I guess it doesn't matter since your setup is 250r geo
  21. Am I missing something here.... if I run nerfs how is it possible to relocate pegs when they come mounted on the bars...[emoji19]
