I live in North Dakota so there ain't much riding up here other than that

Ok guys just got this banshee this weekend and it's making an almost grinding or knocking noise. I rode it a few times didn't notice any noise or anything but all a sudden I heard it it's not very loud but it's there might not be anything but better safe then sorry sounds like it's coming from the bottom end. I bought it with supposedly only "5" hours on it put about 5 more on. I was just wondering what's the best complete rebuild kits? I will be mostly trail riding and riding gravel roads. The kit can't be over $1500

And it didn't really specify but does your piston need to be at TDC or doest it matter?

Reviving old post. can you do the leak down test with your carbs on to see if it leaks through out there at all or do you have to take them off?

Would you guys recommend switching oils or keep running amsoil?

Ok new here and new to two-strokes don't know what's all done to the motor but it's not stock was built by some guy supposedly professional guy in North Dakota. What would be the safe yet powerful fuel mix and what oil?

Not as cheap as possible but not over $3,000 for stage 5's.

Don't plan on getting a longer swing arm just a-arms. Are the steel legacy series standard travel?

But do the brake lines need to be longer or not?

And what are the opinions on the elka legacy steel series shocks?

Then with the +2,+1 swing arms do you need longer brake lines or not?
