  2. surely, inch and a quarter difference shouldn't be too much, surely
  3. The first pic is at idle, second is with a little throttle. Looking at the pics on my computer here they look bright. But it was still light out though the barn doors were shut. They don't throw a lot of light out front aways. I ordered 30 degree spot and the seem like a flood. I re wired the stockers back up with the blue bulbs and I had a nice spot on the other sid. Yellow light but definitely farther. The leds were bright ass crisp white. Come springtime when I'm gonna need this light for trailriding I will probably do the trailteck rectifier and battery and some decent leds. I see jds has some great prices right now, but not top on priority list this time of year, for the shee.

  6. The light housing I had to trim about an eigth of an inch off each side, all the way up to the curvature of the light. Quik work with a cut off wheel. Still had to trim the stock mounts an can been seen in above pic.
  7. I have them soldered to the stock headlight wires. Nothing else, using stock switch, low or high they come on. Bright white light. But not sure if I'm gonna like them. 30 degree spot beam 27 watts each. Doesnt seem to light out far, and not wide around the quad in front. I'm gonna get it in the barn today where its dark and try to get em aligned better, I was loaded last night. Then maybe hook the stockers back up so I have a good sober (hopefully) comparison. I have some blue 'brighter' bulbs in my stockers that seemed way better than stock bulbs. Is there a resistor in the stock light switch?

  9. Stock head, no damage....$50 shipped in the lower 48 Chromed engine mounts...&25 shipped lower 48 Sent from my C6730 using Tapatalk
  10. Looks like a little negative symbol in the center of the arrows I would assume that would point to the side that would be the negative. Going to unsolder the pastor and flip it around install it and test voltage I will let you know Sent from my C6730 using Tapatalk

  12. There is no specific white stripe on either side of the capacitor where the leads exit it. There is however one large white stripe on the capacitor with arrows on it which side would be to the negative the way I have it now the arrows are pointing towards the rectifier and are hooked up to the positive pointing that way. 13. I have a set of pro design style 18cc domes in good shape. Id lime $30 plus shipping. Sent from my C6730 using Tapatalk

  15. I have $8 American in the capacitor and rectifier. $17.50 for two 27 watt leds. The leds should be here wed or thurs. I just need to be sure on how to wire it up.
  16. This way Im hoping to use the stock light switch, just wouldnt have low/high capability, which shouldn't be needed with the leds. I have two 27w 9 led lights coming from the ebay. Thanks, Matt. Sent from my C6730 using Tapatalk
  17. Im a dummy with electrical schematics, looking at yours, I assume om the right side, after the capacitor would be the lights? So I found the parts you listed and am ready to solder it all up. Can I install this before the light sw? Lime light after the yellow and black wire come out of the stator, but before they enter the light switch? That way I can install my two leds in stock location? Sent from my C6730 using Tapatalk
  18. I know how to let things serup. I knew the 1 hour comment would bring out the usual dickhead comments, and it did. I punped in the air with a hand bicycle pump. Got it up tu 9 or 10 pounds, which every two stroke Ive owned has held pressure at. Now as I said earlier I was having problems with oil blowing out the overflow before I touched the quad. I asked for advise, and got smart asses. Not meaning to comain, but its par for the course.
  19. Ya, I will definitely let it set overnight before re testing and assembly.
  20. I will be using Yamabond4 and will let it set up for a good hour before I test it. Gives me some time to fatten up the mains while waiting.
  21. Mhoksch, I live on Okauchee lake, so we run alot there. Couple a buddies on quads. Mostly for fun, mostly run road course style tracks.
  22. Have to put sealant on the keyway, huh? Says nothing about that in the manual, probably why I didn't do that. I will seal it up this afternoon and re-test. Thanks again.
  23. Definitely helical So how do I seal up the keyway? Sent from my C6730 using Tapatalk
  24. I'm pretty sure they are helical cut gears.
