  1. I'd just take the extra time and go to Glamis... Been to the OR dunes and they don't compare.
  2. I'll be there but we are going this weekend (12-15).
  3. Won't be there until President's weekend this year. Banshee is almost back to running and it'll be nice to ride it again after 10 years of it sitting.
  4. Is it just me or does it sound like another bikes exhaust sound track was put on top of this to make the bike sound better?
  5. I completely agree. I'm in the same boat here, getting a full rebuild up and going for presidents day in Glamis. Had everything checked and rebuilt including the crank, money well spent in my opinion.
  6. Awesome!!! Planning on the same A-arm set up (+2+1), only difference is I'm planning on making my own and then upgrading the shocks.
  7. This will be the first year in a long time I have not been out there for Thanksgiving Presidents day will be the next trip.
  8. I understand your point, but last I checked we are innocent until proven guilty in this country. I think the cop was being a prick because he could. That's why I have my stuff in an enclosed trailer, they would have to have a warrant or a really damn good reason to get me to open it up.
  9. Just remembered it has 17cc domes too. Like I said it's been sitting in storage a long time.
  10. Jetting on the carbs I think is 270 or 280, I'm not home at the moment, I'll edit post when I can check
  11. Sorry should have included the mods. Fmf gnarled pipes, and ported is all that's done to the engine. Don't ask what kind of port, not sure it was done 11 years ago. I'm rebuilding the bike since its been sitting for about 10 years and want to solve a few things while I'm working on it.
  12. The banshee pulls into 5th gear fine but goes flat on 6th. Is this a sign of running the bowls down and needing more flow from the carbs or am I looking at a different issue? Thanks for any input.
  13. Been about 10 years since I pulled the banshee out and it has definitely seen better days. So I decided to rebuild the whole engine and replace all gaskets and seals. That turned into deciding to replace the Pistons too. Thing is I don't know any of the shops in the Orange County California any more, where would you suggest I go for a bore/hone on the cylinders and some port work??? The only place this bike goes is Glamis, mostly just a dune bike with a little racing mixed in. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
