  1. I think it'd need resleeved. Has a small mark inside probably when the rod broke. I didn't really want to buy new cylinders just because these are painted and look different. I just wanted to see if its worth putting back together. It has a 4mm hotrod crank already so if the cylinders wouldn't be a big issue I'd slap it together.
  2. So I bought a banshee I thought was gonna be just a roller part out. Well ended up having the motor but disassembled. The pistons coming out of it were 66.25. Is there any more bore I can do to clean it up or would I need to buy new cylinders to get it going?
  3. Was the silencer and baffle cut or just the silencer pipe? I know the newest Toomeys went back and used this original Dunken design but I'm not sure what differences it made. I know cutting was supposed to make the powerband hit harder which alot of people dislike.
  4. I guess I'll be selling the +6 and looking for a +10 so I don't have to keep tinkering with it. Thanks for all the help. Wish I had more info on the bike but I bought it from the son after his father had passed away so he didn't know much and Jim Dunken of JD Racing didn't recognize who's bike it was.
  5. Seems like my pictures are all too big to upload. https://scontent.flas1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xtf1/v/t1.0-9/11698822_10153410339843617_6335202967800715847_n.jpg?oh=953f7b9e4fedb3a0bd010568c3fa09d5&oe=56AEA7C9 https://scontent.flas1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xlp1/v/t1.0-9/10995835_10153410339773617_7992437131458540315_n.jpg?oh=cc50a6bea3ac2e2c961d803a894b4612&oe=56EF7D44 https://scontent.flas1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xla1/v/t1.0-9/11174950_10153410339093617_6066689278449960067_n.jpg?oh=3a3a33cb5c890478ae0126c92a606aca&oe=56F66240
  6. I'm not sure how ported it is. It's a old school Dunken (JD racing) Bike but nobody seems to recognize it to know how built it is. It's not a stroker but it feels damn close. It does have to run straight race fuel. It has the old cut toomey t3 pipes with i think the cpi silencers.
  7. I just took the banshee I bought to Dumont for the first time. It already has a +6 but doing a little racing on Competition I could not keep the front down. Every gear or just fanning the clutch it came right up. I was wondering how much difference the +8 would make or just get a +10. Also not sure the downfalls of going that long. Any advice is appreciated.
  8. I am curious on what the average price on finding a bike to part out might be. I get after market parts and built motors make it a huge variable but say stock or you know the basic with pipes. I see quite a few cheap bikes here in Vegas and always think with some of the prices I see on here that it adds up quick to sell it parted out. Thanks...
  9. http://mohave.craigslist.org/snw/5065287470.html I saw this one. It looks ok especially for the price.
  10. Sorry I just saw a couple potentially good deals and simply thought I'd pass on the info. I didnt realize it was a joke post.
  11. This might be a good part out deal for anyone in Cali. http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/snw/5086924040.html
  12. Looks like a great deal. I just bought one so i was passing on the info.

  14. I wouldn't but I can find cheap ones here in vegas.
  15. I'm not sure who they think is gullible enough to send the money. I just called his bluff and keep saying I'll have someone in Chicago go check it out. But i think i finally pissed him off because he stopped texting.
  16. http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/sgd/5030722916.html Some kind of scam I'm figuring out but he's convincing so watch out. Bikes aren't here they are in Chicago and he wants paid through ebay because they hold the money until delivery but I don't think it works that way with ebay.
  17. From the pictures online of the ptr fat boys your right that looks like them just from what I could see. Not sure if I should switch them out for what I know or keep these awhile.
  18. I've always ran old t3's but was told when I bought this these were some custom jd pipes but I was too young back in the day to remember any other pipes he customized.
  19. I truly have no idea. I know Jim mainly used Toomeys he customized the pipe by cutting an inch out of the seem to give a harder kick at the power band. But i think he did some custom pipes on his strokers and some of his top built bikes. It has no markings what so ever. I'll post a couple pics in case anyone recognizes them.
  20. How long does it take to get approved on the Facebook page. Still waiting...
  21. I took pics with my phone but had to shrink that one down so much to get it to upload it's barely big enough to see. I'll try to shrink down some more or can you link photos that are on another website so it's bigger and more clear?
