  1. Damn, i guess i just wanted to see it work. Two wires from the stator hooked to the two yellow on the reg touch the black/red on the reg and i get nothing hooked the black wire to the frame, also nothing There's definitely AC output off the lighting coil, because it'll light up my headlights. I guess i'll order a TT reg/rec and try that.
  2. Am i supposed to hook the floated ground wire to a yellow wire, and the black wire on the rectifier?
  3. Maybe my rectifier is bad, but my test light works when i touch the two leads off the stator (yellow/floated ground) but when i hook them to the rectifier i get nothing.
  4. Well the rectifier I have at the house most definitely has 3 yellow wires and one red wire. I've also got another rectifier off a seadoo but it has two yellow, a black and a red. It would be the better one to use in this application?
  5. Would it work for my application?
  6. anyone ever messed with one of these?
  7. I want to convert over to DC, so far I've taken the lighting side ground off the stator plate and added wire. Now, I have a Regulator/Rectifier that came off a seadoo. It has 3 yellow wires and a red wire on it. Should I just hook the yellow wire off the stator and my floated ground to yellow wires, then the red would be my 12v+? I believe they ground off the case, so would i just run a ground from there and that be my 12v-? http://www.regulatorrectifier.com/catalog/images/10-W005.jpg Pic of the regicide I have
  8. I took my bearing out, my buddy left his in but covered it with large flat washers and a bolt/nut
  9. Buy a round house swingarm, banshee round bearing carrier (mine came wiith bearings) and a caliper stay.
  10. Lol, yes. While that is a legitimate question, i'm definitely installing them correctly.
  11. Bought a set of tie rod ends and they don't fit the spindle or steering stem. The taper is incorrect. Is this common? http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Sets-of-TIE-ROD-END-KIT-FITS-YAMAHA-BANSHEE-350-YFZ350-1987-1996-/271433862200?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f32b80c38&vxp=mtr
  12. Gotta be someone who needs these, make me an offer
  13. Well i ground mine, so i don't think it's warped much at all now.
  14. No one else really drills the rear rotor?
  15. I drilled it on a manual mill, with an indexer set for 12 divisions. I'm sure it was warped, i didn't check to see.
  16. Just a little something i did to make it stand out. I cant take credit for the idea though, No that credit goes to a real good friend of mine who once told me. There's always things that can be done to improve, even for little or no money. This is a great example
  17. I made the step a little longer on these, to make sure they locate better.
  18. Last set of threaded bosses used to mount the foot pegs. They are threaded M10 coarse thread, the factory used M10 fine thread. These have longer threaded sections for more engagement than factory. 80$ shipped
  19. Just did this, honestly once you start in it's not bad at all. One piece of advice i can give is to leave as much of the assemblies as you can together and put bolts back into parts where you can also. Also if a bolt seems stuck, don't keep trying and risk stripping the head. Get the impact gun after it, i had several allen head bolts stuck, zipped right out with an impact.
  20. Another set up for sale if anyone is interested.
  21. Someone is more than welcome to, i might make a few more as a nice gesture.
  22. Hope you're pleased with them. As i get time i'll make another set, and post them up when they are complete
