  3. Yea I started her up she sounded fine . Warmed up , took her up the block and she started spitting coolant as if the thing was boiling .. High rev even off the throttle I knew she was too hott . Shut her down and ordered the kit Vito offers with the super stock .. Gonna start at 340 sleeper , run down from there .. I should be good with the 30s so I'll leave those in . Thanks a lot guys big help from both of you !!!

  5. Yea I have a 30 in there now , gonna start with 340 and work my way down .. And needle 2nd from bottom @tricked ?
  6. My guy did a leak test yesterday said no leaks .. I will just ordered a kit now .. Possibly a needle change as well with the main change ?
  7. whatsup everyone ! had some help the other day from you guys so i hope i can figure this out .. i recently had to change pistons for compression issues and a busted up ring. went up from stock size to superstock Vitos 65mm and also had put a fresh bored set of cylinders ( over .040) .. starts right up now , but was running real lean for some reason. do i need to rejet due to the change in pistons ? was told i didnt have to by a shop owner around my way but when i jumped on the banshee today she was revving real high after half to 3/4 throttle, and was spitting out coolant out the over flow hoses . i previously have 300 main and 30 pilot, along with needle 2nd from top ... stock carbs, k&n stock air box no lid and pro circuits . should i change the needle and see ? or rejet completely ? thanks in advance guys !!!

  10. Thank you guys , changing Pistons today and doing a cylinder swap as well .. Appreciate the help .. !!! Let's see if this changes the current situation
  11. Is it possible my mechanic from flooding the engine and kicking 50-70 times that he could have blew a piston ? .. I rode the bike fine last week and conoression was at 100 .. He did a compression test today and she is at 25?!
  12. @sleeper Im in brookkyn new york .. Quick question . From last week ( bike started on 2-3rd kick ) till now , without riding the bike or anything .. Can the compression drop so much that it's unstartable ? If she was starting last week with low compression wouldn't she start again today ? My cousin said he tested compression last week and it was at 90 , today he said its at 25
  13. Compression is fine .. Can it be the kick starter inside the clutch side ?
  14. Engine was just taken off of frame and then put on crate and back in frame after powder coat .. I'll check the assembly of the kicker in the morning .. Can a piston have seized from not even ridin ? Last ride was right before the strip down
  15. Bike ran fine whn I drove it prior to frame powdercoat.: after that was done and the bike was put back together , that's when the kick start got locked/jammed .. Anywhere to start would really help ! Thanks in advanced
  16. First off Id like to say this is my first official post pertaining to a problem with my banshee . Have a 1997 stock engine pro circuits carbs jetted 30 and 300 no lid New York . Ran fine no problems 3rd kick start all the time .. Had a friend who does mechanic work strip my bike to powder coat the frame . Bike was put back together right , fluids changed etc . Upon completion the kickstart got jammed in between gears (never happened before) that provlem was resolved . Now she doesn't start at all .. I rode it to my friends shop fine .. There is spark oil etc . After this problem I redrained oil and found metal shavings .. But all looks good under the crank case .. My friend said he tried starting it before I got there and he possibly may have flooded engine the first time after he put her back together .. Anything ? I'm planning on checking compression in the morning but any suggestions ? Thanks
