  1. With the mods i have listed above, will a lockup and a pro mod transmission from redline help me out?. I want to b able to shit with 2 fingers at wot. Money is not an issue
  2. And i do a little bit of everything. From a little drag racing to trails to just crusing around with buddies. I dont want a override.
  3. My bike is kinda hard to shift at high rmp. I already have the modded shift star and modded shift shaft from jeff over at fast. New rod ball clutch adjuster and actuator. New hinson basket. New stock inner hub and driveline pressur plate. I run 2 oem springs and 3 heavy duty. I also have the ez shift and New eccentric stud.I spent a whole day playing with adjustments and the bike still doesn't ss easy as i want it to. Is there anything else i can do to make it shift easier. Im currently in the middle of a rebuild. Im doing a 421 several on pump gas.
  4. Ok the pistons are in the right way. So im going to start her up and see what happens. Ill do another compression test after its broken in. Ill post the new numbers. Thanks for the help
  5. I DOUBLED CHECKED THE ALL OF THE O RINGS ON THE COOLHEAD. THEY ARE STILL IN THE RIGHT PLACES. I TORQUED THE HEAD TO 20 FOOT POUNDS.
  6. Hey guys im kind of new to the banshee world. So i bought a banshee. It ran fine for a while then i let my cousin borrow it and he blew the piston (wont do that again).so i just replaced the topend on it. I got it bored to 65.5. I put wisco 795 pistons in it and i got a coolhead from jeff over at fastracing. I did a leak down test and it took 2 hours for the gauge to go from 6 psi to 0 psi. So then i did a compression test. On the left cylinder i got 125 psi and on the right side i got 145 psi. My question is why do i have differnt readings between the 2 cylinders. I haven't even started the bike up yet. Mods noss coolhead 23cc domes 4mil 115 vitos 65.5 pistons v3 reeds Mikuni 34mm carbs Cpi pipes year 97 the bike has some port work but cant tell what kind of port work it has. The previous owner couldnt tell me anything about the bike Im in south florida so im at sea level

  8. Yes im holding the throttle wide open. And i pretty sure all of the o rings are set right. I used chapstick on all of the o rings to make sure they stayed in place

  12. Hey I'm new to the form. I just picked up a 97 banshee. It's has a 4 mil and some port work. It has cpi pipes a and vforce 3 reeds. The problem that I was having was its very hard to shift to forth gear. So I ordered a some stuff from fast racing. I got a new pancake bearing, modded shift star, modded shift shaft, ez shift spring, eccentric stud, shift shaft torsion spring, clutch cable, outer hub, clutch rod and ball, and clutch arm spring. Gears 1 through 3 shifts like a charm now. But I still can't get it into 4th gear. I'm lost and dnt know what to do next. Help please
