if you lost spark after rebuilding carbs check the the slides are in correctly and not caught on that pin...and why would if I put the ring on the left carb and now the right carb doesn't hhave the gold ring...why would the left side not run at all and the right side run like shit? I don't understand -
Everyone is different. Some people can consume alcohol or smoke pot and not abuse it. Others can't, if someone can be responsible then all the power to them but if there a dumbass regardless if it's weed or alcohol they shouldn't be doing it. But it's not your place to tell them they can't do it. Just saying

top n bottom end rebuild. won't idle

It didn't loose the pressure I took the pump out the plug hole it just wasn't leaking anywhere so I took er off...I did notice tho in my carbs when you take the bowl off and u have your main jet and that plastic insert...I removed them and noticed that there's that little gold ring where your main jet screws in...only the right carb had the ring the left carb was missing that piece..I swapped the ring to the left side carb and when I start it now the left side doesn't run at all? So I'm not sure but is it possible that this gold ring has something to do with this? -

Lol I actually nigger rigged my own tester out of a bike tire pump..and like 9 psi for minute or so? -
The same argument could be made towards drinking. I for one, would like to see you get drunk and try to write a book. Tell me how that goes. If someone can smoke pot, and still accomplish their tasks and live a responsible life, who are you to judge them. And for the record, I smoked out of my bong before I wrote this.

12-o-clock-wheelie replied to 12-o-clock-wheelie's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
I'm not saying you guys are wrong but it can't be the plugs? There brand new and it fired once but now it wont. Still 20 v power but no spark. Sooo confused -
power to brand new plugs. no spark
12-o-clock-wheelie replied to 12-o-clock-wheelie's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Yes carbs work everything was cleaned and inspected also when I removed gas tank and poured gas down cylinders again it still wouldn't fire or get spark yet it has 20 v power -
Well basically I had no spark and went through the whole electrical system already triple tested everything works problem was shitty ground from ignition coil where it mounts to the frame. I now have about 20 v power between the 2 spark plug leads and bought brand new plugs. Poured a little gas down cylinders to see if she'd turn over a little bit and it did. Put gas tank on hooked up fuel line kicked it over and nothin...took tank off still no spark retested for power still had 20 v power but no spark??

Drop the cases in gas.
12-o-clock-wheelie replied to 12-o-clock-wheelie's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Ok i'm thinking ill just use spray cleaners and shit and see what all comes off and if all else fails ill drop them a bucket of gas. -
So I blew up my banshee 2 summers ago and am just now getting around to fixing it:)!!! Anyhow there is a shit ton of black gunk EVERYWHERE on the cases. SO I was wondering if it was a good idea to drop them in some gas or kerosene to clean all the shit off. I have everthing out of the cases except for the shift forks and such. What are your suggestions?
