  1. Doesn't sound like you're getting out of this that easy...
  2. If you go to www.thebansheezon.com .. built by meat on this site... there is a step by step with pics. Check it out.
  3. I have been told by my builder to use stock head gastkets. I never had trouble with cometic but I did with the vitos gasket.
  4. I'd like to know that also jim. I'll pm him
  5. I just measured from my razors and I have 5inch. A 22" tire would only add one inch plus the depth of the paddle. I shouldn't have any trouble.
  6. Okay, I have a wanted add up for some 21 or 22 inch tires. I may have a problem with that though. I have nerf bars and am concerned the paddle may hit the nerf if I get tires that big. They are ac pro-pegs. What do you think.
  7. I did that on a dual purpose street bike once. Needless to say it ended about the same as your friends.. lol
  8. Just measure the ring gap. That's the easiest way to tell. If you have a full season on them, I'd change them. But, you may not need them. You can also measure the ring and see if one side is more worn than the other. If they don't show any ware at all, just hone the cylinders and you should be good to go. I don't know the tolerances, but I'm sure the person who ported your cylinders should know.
  9. http://kuoi.asui.uidaho.edu/~john/tips.html Try this first
  10. You guys keep talking about these damn nitro cars. I don't need something else to start spending money on.
  11. Nerf bars. You'll want nerfs to keep others tires out of yours and they can be handy for spinning around trees. Depending on the track, eventually you may want suspension but you won't want to go wider. That can get really tight in the woods and +2 makes it tough. Just go and have fun man. That's what it's about.
  12. That's about all I ride. I can keep up or whoop most 4 stokers. It really is rider in the trails. It's just a lot of clutch work and playing with the throttle on the banshee. You'll still have fun no matter what. That's what counts.
  13. I'm sure it would run, but your port timing wouldn't be right for the extra stroke.
  14. Some builders don't use grease zerks. They say they are entry points for disaster. I call bullshit. Anyway, to each there own. It's a cool concept though... being able to adjust them. Puts a different leverage on the shocks though.
  15. Yeah, I noticed you are in michigan. The colder it is the richer you need to run. It's 1 jet size per 15deg if you jet perfect to the t. I usually jet a little rich anyway so I don't have to mess with it all the time.
  16. Yep, they look like that tire called 4-snow
  17. nyuk runs asphalt though.
  18. I also have some vitos reed cages, stock front shocks, stock carbs with newer cable and tors kit installed, sucky ass front tires but the gold rims are okay, another throttle cable, some stock reed cages.... some other little stuff.... in case somebody wanted to mix and match on a trade. I know most of it isn't worth much, but it may be more useful to someone than my garage.
  19. Great way to put it Blue! I've determine that 13/41 compliments my riding style the best--mostly all around dune'n. thanks Rod i couldnt think of a better analigy of how i feel about gearing.....Got1 pmed me and was asking about gearing for passions motor, to be honest i really dont know what gearing he should run......if he spent a couple grand on his motor a 100 bucks in sprockets wont kill him, he will just have to find that sweet spot in his power band and gear accordinly...as we all do...at first i ran a 17 on my passion motor, but it was wild in the terrain i ride in so i went to my 15, that was to low...i put the 17 back on and now that its broke in and im used to it, the 17 rocks i can jump off the line in second, pull third and damm near leave it there, for the tracks im on, maybe slam the clutch in a corner here or there but it works great for my riding style and i notice with my passion stroker i dont have to wind it up for mx as i do with my trinity engine.......again we could speculate on how he should gear his bike but i think bottom line he will have to find out for himself what works for him........i know with what ever gearing he goes with jim at passions stroker will pull it fine, its just what does he need for his "style" of riding, some guys like to shift there ass off some guys like to use there clutch, for mx racing i think im the latter of the two...... I believe that was ledofthezep with the compliment, but it was a great analogy.
  20. Actually there were 2 or 3 years that came with a 13 tooth front and 22" tires. I think it was 87-89.
  21. No thanks. Looking for some in good shape. Thanks
  22. Cool, thanks
  23. Looking for 22" or 21" haulers with 9 or 10 paddles. I have cash or parts to trade. No real aftermarket parts except a sway bar or rear lowering block. Maybe a few other. I need them so for Dumont. ... Thanks
  24. No problem.
