Yea, no more oil spewing out. Found out that 2strokes have a bottom end compression as well, and that was leaking into the clutch at high rpms.
but funny how you skip over things sometimes trying to figure out problems, lol. Ill go drain fuel outta tank and carbs, clean em while I'm at it , then try again.
Yeah sorry lol I dont know much about the bottom end

Thinking it was fresh fuel, at least fresh topped off, and didnt really drop coolant. Guess Ill go through whole story. First year out(no.Co. dune only quad 6000ft) ran great, second summer it started puking oil outta breather tubes all over right foot and then started the bog thing. I pulled clutch cover off and the clutch and gears off crank and seen the crank seal had failed. Replaced the seal, rode it around and it ran great again, no issues(4800ft). Following weekend took it back up to the dunes(6000ft) started up fine, warmed up fine, started riding. Did the bog thing again. That's when I quit nd got the other banshee out, lol. Didn't drain and make sure it was fresh fuel tho
No more oil draining out though right? Its not that much of a hassle draining out the fuel. Just turn the petcock off and pop the hose through, turn the petcock on and let it drain. Then on the carbs there are screws on the bottom on the flywheel side, loosen them and your carbs will drain out. Fill up with fuel and you can return to haulin ass lol

I'm with Surfrjag, probably bad or has water in the gas. Do you have the coolant bottle under the seat? Did the level drop?

Ok so I wanted to update this real quick. These are the measurements from the stock bleeder that originally comes on the bikes.
Keep in mind that these have a point on the end of them.
A (Overall Length): 27.34MM
B (Hex Size): 8MM (M8)
C (Thread Pitch): 1.25MM
D (Thread Start to Tip): 17MM

I'm gonna do it. who has race cut purple front fenders?
Well, sketchy Rattle Can Ray has some full ones for sale... These plastics are very rare so it's gonna be hard to find another. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1987-2006-Yamaha-Banshee-full-fenders-front-rear-plastic-uncut-OEM-PURPLE-C-22-/271724824926?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item3f440fc95e

Oh, yeah lol completely missed that part

I really want to keep the stock look, there aren't many 93's. Here's a picture of a completely stock 93 next to mine for comparison.
-
You should just rip off the original graphics on the front that are fucked up and get some matching rims and tires. And a yamaha sticker on the tank. All that would make a huge difference.
I actually took those torn graphics off a couple of month ago and I have different tires on. That was it after I took the rack off the back, that was the only picture I could find at the time. Here's pictures of it now. I scrapped the stock seat cover because it was dirty and torn and this is just temporary. I have the same color purple vinyl in the garage.

Probably better off putting a YZ250 engine in it

Don't forget to add the price of bearings and seals.
Just a good idea to replace them when apart even if the powder or heat or removing them doesn't hurt them.(but it will)
Ok thanks. What seals and bearings are there? The chain rollers are somewhat new so I shouldn't have to worry about them.

For now, Krylon 1403 spray can paint will spot in and blend perfectly with the original color. If you mask whatever isn't silver you can touch-up with it the spot will be un-noticable. I like to use tin foil and some tape to mask with since it conforms and stays put and out of your way.
That's a cool trick but I'll just wait. It shouldn't take me too long to come up with the money to powder coat and I have a crack in my frame that needs to be welded in.
-
Heres a thought. The money your going to put in powdercoating, just spend it on plastic, and matching rims, and tires. The purple is faded to damn near grey so it matches your frame. Im not saying it looks like shit............just shitty looking.
I want to keep the original plastics so I'm going to wait when I have the money and have it powder coated silver or a faded purple color

I had a friend that hangs out with those clowns. Here you can see his pos LT250R getting beat by a crotch rocket. Hes the fat ginger kid to the left.

^You dont hang out with those stupid detroithoodtv fucks do you?
-
I'd bet it would scare the shit out of you though.
Im not afraid of that pos. My bike weights half as much as that fat ass turtle.

Then there's these shitheads putting a downgraded engine in a Banshee

Did a conversion on my mum's minivan lol
-
Or is that more pink? Hmm
-
Lol fuck off boy

Holy shit this Brian guys sounds cool. He said that I will have to choose a specific purple color but a ballpark estimate will be around $90 for a single coat + however much for prepping but to call him tomorrow for more details.
-
I got a hold of Brian on fb and am talking to him now.

I get all my work done for free suckers all I have to do is drop it off and pick it up. I have always wondered about prices tho.
Who'd you have to suck off? lol
-
I paid about 120 bucks from a local powder coating shop for my frame and T bar. Just depends on who does your work. Its white so no custom powder.
This sounds pretty good. I'm mostly worried on just the frame for now. I'll get the a arms and swingarm and carrier done later.
Rebuild kit for front calipers?
