  4. Yeah my porch is nice tho cause its right off the house. I do want to setup my garage tho as soon as the roller is done.
  5. Lol it started out in my dining room but then as i got to building it i was like, man this aint gonna make it outside if i keep this up. So i dragged it to the porch. I have a garage but its a dirt floor and crappy setup so i decided to use tht spot
  6. mail man dropped some more parts today lol..
  7. I know lol and waiting for parts seems to take for ever
  8. my build hasnt come too far yet but i have most of the parts for the roller just waiting for some odds and ends to assemble it but this is what i have so far.. how i got it now it took alot of work to get it to where it is now, but i got so much shit left to do it aint even funny.. i got it for a project though so im in no hurry.. i got it with no swing arm, shock linkage, rear shock, steering stem, and alot more.. i have all these parts now just got to assemble it.. lots of bolts and nuts were missing and alot of stuff was warn so i had to replace with new stuff.. still need a few things and il have a complete roller in no time.. then i have to get all the stupid stuff like clutch lever, throttle assembly, and of course i have to build a motor for it, but it will be fun building it.. good luck with yours man..
  9. welcome to the forums man.. im in your shoes.. i got an old 87 banshee from an old friend of mine and ive been messin with it for a few weeks now.. i got it all torn apart and what was said to have 90 percent of the stuff became more like nothing lol. i was missing a whole ass end and most of the front end parts, no steering stem, no engine, and what have you, but i sat down and made a list of what i needed to complete the roller and voila, i pretty much have a roller now.. it dont take long and it will all come together.. ebay is ur friend for stock parts to get u going, also do like others said and find someone on the for sale section that has alot of used parts and clean em up and piece it together.. im going for a stock build too for now until its complete and then i will start buying upgrades.. its easier to do it that way i think cause then u can still have fun with it and upgrade as you go.. hazzard banshee is your man, he knows his shit and is willing to go out of his way to help.. post pics as the build comes together.. id like to see what the progress is.. good luck bro
  10. I have a swing arm just need axle, carrier, and whatever else is needed to complete the ass end. Oh also in need of s rear shock too
  11. hey guys im looking for some banshee parts.. im in need of rear axle, axle carrier, sproket and sprocket hub, axle hubs and whatever else is needed to make a complete rear end. i am building a project banshee and these are the parts i need for now.. i am also looking for some other stuff but i want these parts for now.. thanks
  12. I want to just get it going for now. Im going to go with the freshly rebuilt bottom end with a standard hot rods crank and vito superstock pistons for now. If i feel like the power is t enough for my needs i will upgrade later. I have so much work to do with just the roller that if i go the 4 mil route it will never be done by spring so im gonna go with a stock bottom end for now. I still need to get cylinders for it though so that will be my next thing to get. I do apreciate all the input on the pipes and stuff i am looking at what ones i wanna get. Im thinking pro circuit. The trails here in vt arent great i been riding in nh. The claremont nh area has some realy nice trails but they have rocky and muddy ones too. I plan to keep this thing clean though so i wont be in the mud
  13. Ok thanks for your helpp guys.. Uve all been awesome
  14. well i guess im gonna scratch the last few comments ive posted lol.. this has been up and down up and down for me, but hey its my first build so im bound to have this happen right? my buddy got a hold of me today and told me he has a bottom end that was just rebuilt..(fresh bottom end.. new crank bearings and seals, hot rods crank.. not the 4mm but standard ) and is willing to work with me to get this thing going. so for now i guess im going to go with that, and if i think its not enough power to satisfy my needs i will try something else.. anyone know anything about these hot rod cranks? why are they said to be much better then stock cranks? im also interested in finding more out about these VITO SuperStock piston kits? i think i want to go with these since ive heard a lil about them, id like to know more if i could about em though. whats the difference between these and the wiseco pistons? if i decide to go with these, what else can i do to gain power? Some people say not to use ported cylinders with the vito kit and some do.. whys this? I thought about getting a shaved head or aftermarket head with domes, and lighten the flywheel, vforce reeds, pipes, and what not.. is this a good setup? and what will my gains be if i do all this? any help would be greatly apreciated.. thanks.. oh and sorry for being such a pain in the ass.. this is my first realy build and i want it to be fun.
  15. I hear that. The reason i was gonna use the 66mm cylinders is because i was getting a good deal on them.
  16. Im going with the 66mm cylinders because the guy that is doing the work has those in stock . Should i not use the 66mm ? Im all ears.
  17. Its hard to explain what kind of riding i do but mainly i just run up and down dirt roads and rail trails. (Open straight stretches, old railroad tracks turned into trails) some trail riding but not much cause i havent found many here. Its just a toy for me to go out and mess around every once in a while. I just want something i can get on and go burn off some steam with lol
  18. Ok so i have been doing alot of thinking the past few days and i think i have made up my mind on what i am going to do. I have spent alot of time talking with one of the members on this site and This is what i came up with so far. 4mm stroker crank 66mm bore cylinders Vforce 3 or 4 reeds not sure yet Cool head with domes Porting??? Some say not to some say i can?? Still not sure on what pipes yet i just want to get the motor rebuilt and then i can worry about that. Can anyone tell me if whAt i have listed is a good idea or not? And maybe explain why it would be good or not? Im still new to the whole banshee thing and i just want good power out of it. Im a 250lb rider . I wasnt going to go with the 4mil but i said the hell with it i might as well since i have it all apart now. Any other info u guys can help with would be greatly apreciated. U guys have been awesome I know it might be alot of power but i figured since i have it all apart why not have it done right the first time right?
  19. Nice work man very nice . Looks like its comin along good.
  20. Yeah this might sound stupid bit since im building geound up can i use the electronics from the newr models like 2000 and up? I have some of the electronics but im missing a wire harness and stuff. I just didnt know if i shoukd buy the newest one or just buy the yr my bike is. Eventually i plan on getting a 2000 or newer frame so
