  1. I will get some jets today and try that also. I am always worried im jetting lean so i go high.
  2. The banshee has a 13 up front and a 40 in the rear, from what i have read 42 is the stock sprocket size. Wouldnt this cause my gearing issue?
  3. I'm fairly sure it's stock gearing. My brother bought it new and didn't do anything to it but let it sit. ill check tonight.any other ideas? Sent from my H866C using Tapatalk 2
  4. This is my first post on the forum just wanted to say thanks i have been reading over the forums for awhile. I am new to banshees, my brother recently gave me his old banshee. I recently went through the entire motor and have started to clean it up. My banshee is a 1987 which was completely stock until I got it. My problem is that the bike runs hard through all gears until I hit 6th then falls out of the pipe and very very slowly gains speed. I am just wondering what you guys think it could be. Is it normal to not pull hard in 6th? It does have huge 22. 10 9 carlisle strikers on the back which is a really heavy tire if that helps any. I will list my mods Stock Crank- not welded but had very low hours and i didnt even know welding was neccessary til i already had the motor together. Stock bore with wiseco pro lite pistons 125 psi on both cylinders Stock air box no lid with stock air filter bolted to box. Aftermarket pipes- unknown brand but they are sectional coned pipes with stock silencers. Stock carbs- synced with 25 pilots 300 mains at 750ft elevation MO 80 degree weather. New tusk clutch kit with heavy duty springs. Motor has 5 hours on it. All gaskets and seals were replaced. Thanks ahead for the help.
