I did my grill plastics with it..seems to be holding good. I have heard that it peels but have been lucky..could be that my grill does not hit anything. Sent from my H866C using Tapatalk 2

need suggestions on frame color
3wheeledfanatic replied to 3wheeledfanatic's topic in Banshee Appearance
I have some ppg Porsche red that i could do the frame with, but then i will have to match the rest of the bike. Im just not a big green fan lol. the blue handlebars dont help the situation, I counted and there is 7 different colors. -
I picked up an 02 awhile back and the previous owner painted the frame green..what do you guys think I should do to make it look better? I gotta do something it has to many colors. lol Sent from my H866C using Tapatalk 2

I can't believe the one guy said his kfx400 was beating modified banshees...on top end. My banshee destroys my buddys z400. He has a full exhaust and has been jetting..for the money he put in the exhaust and valve shim kit I could have a new crank..pistons..and a bore job. Sent from my H866C using Tapatalk 2

I just replaced the bushing in my idler gear with a steel one from FAST, my problem is that it still has some wobble. It is better than before, just curious how tight it should be? I replaced the clip but reused the washers.

I'm not sure what they go for..does 15 shipped sounds ok? Any chance you could seme me a pic of the plugs where it connects to the harness? Sent from my H866C using Tapatalk 2

Will you sell the headlight harness separate from the rest? If so how much?

Banshee crank question
3wheeledfanatic replied to 3wheeledfanatic's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Oh thats good news, the way the previous owner put it together I was sure it was a cheap one. I got another question, my right piston looks to have light knicks all over the top of it. The left side looks good just curious what the knicks are from. the pistons are wiseco and the head has some damage on that cylinder also. The rest of the piston looks new. -
So I have heard a lot about the cheap cranks with 29L/R on the rods and how they arent very good. I tore my banshee down and found 29L on each rod. Is this a cheap crank? there is no r just 29L and a 0 on the other side of the rod. Im hoping its a stock yamaha crank. Any help would be awesome.

new guy with questions.
3wheeledfanatic replied to 3wheeledfanatic's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
UPDATE- I went through and recleaned carbs, cleaned air filter, and put in 310 main jets in. The bike runs amazing, it pulls all the gears great especially 6th. The plug chop before showed I was rich but figured I would try the 310s. Thanks for all the help, -

The sprocket helped get to the powerband in the other gears but still bogs in 6th. I have some 280 mains, would that be too big of a drop? It is getting cooler here and I know that will affect my jetting. -
