    It's an 89 banshee, red plastics, black frame. I have two PJ series keihin carbs on it. Toomey pipes all the way. Engine modded but I don't know too much in that category thus far, hope to get some help.

      how bad is it ...hit it w/ a hammer & flat punch straight on a couple times it will jar threads & tighten up the philips part & use a GOOD snap on... tool next time when in doubt try to tighten it 1st if it doesn't break free & strips you only strip it clockwise & can still remove it

      like stated above, I used the philips head screw driver and hit it lightly a few times with a hammer. After that I used a pair of needle nose vise grips and turned it loose. Worked for me atleast.

      Drill the head away with a 1/4" bit till the head pops off, then slide the cover off and scew the bolt out.
