So I'm changing out my stock carbs for mikuni 28mm flat slides. My stock carbs has this tube connecting them. But on My New carbs the place where this tube would go is on the right side of both carbs, so i would have to get a longer tube and go completely around one carb right? What does this tube even do?

What would you suggest to try out. They came with 30 pilot and 280 main

Hey, I'm changing out my stock carbs for a set of Mikuni TM series flat side 28mm carbs. Can I use my old jetting?

Where in NY? Ill have a set of stock carbs for sale in the next couple of days.

Carbs are clean and the throttle cable is new. I'm not sure what jetting it has now. I had a local shop rebuild my motor about a year ago. It started doing this a couple months ago, but it doesnt happen every time. Only happens when its wet out or sometimes just the first 5 min of riding, then it runs perfectly

When first started or when it is wet out my throttle sticks. It will start up and idle fine but once I hit the throttle the rpms keep climbing and don't drop down. When I put it in gear and let the clutch out the rpms will drop down but once I hit the thottle again it revs up and sticks. I took out one of the carb slides to see if the spring was getting stuck and noticed this milky substance. Any advice?

^ thanks, that seems to be my only option. I tried autozone, advanced auto, harbor freight and a local motorcycle shop. No dice. Looks like the Banshee is staying home this weekend

Yea I can't even come close to compressing it enough with my hands. Im gonna go try autozone now and if that doesn't work ill hit up the gym and try with my hands again

Bump...getting the springs today, any advice?

So I broke one of the springs on my works shock and ordered a replacement spring. Can anyone tell me how to compress the new spring in order to get it on. I know I can rent a spring compressor from autozone but I think it might be too big.

I'm selling my front and rear fenders and gas tank/Rad cover. There are no cracks but there is a lot of scratches. The rear fender has some stress marks. Asking 170$ for everything + shipping, or I'm willing to separate.

I used old gas and it took the high temp paint right off. Not sure what effect it would have on the chrome though
