How Much Can I Advance Timing And Run On 93?

I figured it was one of the 2 but I guess no definate answer, I will just have to mess with it. -
I got a timing plate for my banshee and still want to run pump gas, how many steps can I advance it and still run on 93?

I was looking into trinitys head mods. Locally I can get the head shaved for $50 but was wondering if these things are worth the extra money and an extra kick in power? Has anyone done either one of these modifications and think its worth it, I don't think this would make the bike run that much harder but I don't know which is why I need your help

I figure the silencers wouldn't make much difference but do any of you guys who have had experience with either pipe think one has an advantage over the other performance wise?
