Lol, shitty oil, because boats blow up left and right because they use this oil. 2 stroke oil is 2 stroke oil if you want to go spend a ton of money because your oil smells nice that's your preference Every time we take the motors apart the cranks are well lubricated and pistons are clean as a whistle Tcw3 gets the job done and then some, just cause its says marine doesn't mean you can't put it in a weed eater The bike is rich right now because we haven't gotten aroud to tuning it once we do ill are if it improved at all -

every bike from our group no matter how dead on tuned it is gets this way with cpis put on another set of pipes and not a spot, it makes no sense. -
besides cutting the springs, what do you guys recommend to soften up my throttle, i have mikuni 36 flat slides. Ive tried and hate those easy push throttles. I just wanted to see what you guys recommended to do before i did it.

Kick Starter Gear Getting Stuck On Clutch?
excess replied to excess's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
idler gear? The kick starter inside is basically a sprocket, when you kick down it comes up to where the basket is which is basically another gear/sprocket turns it, which turns the motor on and then moves back to its place where it shouldn't touch anything. It has a spring which pushes back into place, can that be the problem, from being loose so long? -
I just put everything back together on my banshee and for some reason the kick starter gear has been getting stuck to the clutch, Ive taken the clutch cover off 3 times to get it to fall back in to place. What is causing this?

Im almost positive that a peice chipped off not a matter of bending it back, when you guyssay weld you mean a whole new peice or just the corner that was broken?
-
This peice
-
I noticed my banshee would turn way to much to the left almost to the point where the tires hit the a arms, after I took a look at what was going on I noticed there is a chip on a peice of frame I guess missing which is where the steering stem hits so it can no longer turn in "x" direction anymore. Apparently the last owner must of taken a hard turn or something and knocked a peice off of that off, is this common? What do you guys do to fix the problem?
-
if anyone is looking to get rid of a pair of CPI inframe pipes please get in touch with me, thanks.

I was wondering if any of you have ever tried taking the gold of the stock wheels, is it even worth it considering the finish you gius come up with, etc.

Aftermarket Shift Star Help, Is This Thing Garbage
excess replied to excess's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
I bought it from www.rmwbillet.com and it was about 30 bucks shipped I figured it would be less time consuming to just swap it out than have to take mine somewhere to machine it. I am sure it was installed right its only a phillips screw. -
Aftermarket Shift Star Help, Is This Thing Garbage
excess posted a topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
I just bought an aftermarket shift star which is supposed to make shifting that much more of a breeze and make neutral much easier to find and this thing barely goes into neutral anymore. Could I have done something wrong. It tends to skip 95 % of the time from 1 to 2 when trying to get neutral and it is really harsh on my foot it feels like something is broken but everything is ok. Could I have done something wrong? -
Tuning The Banshee Soon, What Should I Start With
excess replied to excess's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
Yea but I also need to know what size pilots and needle positions as well. -
I got a bunch of new parts and just wanted to know what jets I should start with. Here is a list of the mods Toomey T5 Clamp On Filters on Carbs V Force Reeds Timing Advance 4+ These are the only new mods I did that affect jetting. I know all bikes are different but I need an idea with what to start with so I can mess with it little by little. I am located at Sea Level.
