  1. The thing is its got a year waranty on it , ill call em up tomorow morning and tell em to send me another one , unfortunatly i dont have a good oem one . And no one here owns banshees so i cant really borrow one.
  2. Yes my father also told me they can read good ohms and still be junk.
  3. Caps and coil are good , i didnt test the stator tho since it was new in the box

  6. Yup i set the pick up gap to specs , key is there everything is ok .
  7. hey guys ive got a problem with my banshee , i recently blew of of my stator so i replaced it with a new one , i replaced the cdi box as well but the cdi was for the newer plug so i chopped the wires and put the older style plug on it , i got nice sparks ,my father is a snomobile mechanic and told me it could be the cdi that isnt compatible with the older style stator ,it sounds like the timming is way off . and i think one side fires when the piston in down in the cylinder. could this be possible? ive tried new plugs , cleaned the carbs , put back my timming to 0 and it still does it any help would be apreciated im about to give up on this peice of shit here a video of it
  8. Man the bike was running like a top before. the tors is remooved and no parking brake switch either im confused
  9. Just cleaned the carb i had a pilot clogged up taught it was my problem but no. Im thinkinbthe stator is no good
  10. I just took of the carbs ill inspect them shortly
  11. Its around 1 degree celsius outside and i just replaced my cdi and stator . Very nice sparks , jetted fat for cold weather. She runs idle on 1 cylinder. My right side pipe stays cold . When i give it gas it dies and sounds kinda like a rev limiter haha . Could it be a frozen carb?

  13. Yeah but just keep in mind the faster you gobthe more stable it is. I dont even ride slow wheelies , there harder to control . And that explains why you go thru grab bars
  14. I dont know if ita just me but i wheelie my banshee alot and never use the brakes . Best gear to pop it for me is in 3rd gear then i shift it up all the way thru 6th on the pipe . I also wheelie when im standing makes it easier to balance. The faster your going the easier it is to keep it up and balanced . Takes practice tho

If you dont ride in mud or water ditch the airbox for pods if bot get a pro flow with k&n, i got a adjustable timmin plate ill sell ya it brand new , and for pipes if your not into drag racin and you want good all around power id go for t5s or pro circuit. For tight trails and mx id use pt mids. So if you bump the timming and add a good set of pipes youll wake her up
