  1. Considering it won"t pump straight out the master I am thinking the same thing.
  2. Changing out brake pads has led to bearing replacement in one hub, taking apart, cleaning calipers and putting them back together, removing clutch cover and replacing impeller, gear and oil seals, installing new a-arms and brake lines. Many of the screws for the clutch cover were already stripped out so I had to drill 4 of the screws and use a ez out. LOL. Ahhhh, good times.
  3. Yeah I had one before for my street bike, but through divorce it has disappeared. Guess I should get another one. Give it a shot before rebuilding the master
  4. I know bleeding brakes can be a real challenge. I recently picked up a 2000 model banshee for 650 bucks. It runs great, but some general maintenance has been overlooked. Anyway, I bought some +2+1 a arms and some braided front brake lines. Front brakes seemed to work decent before. I cannot get the master cylinder to pump fluid into the new lines at all. I even removed the lines and banjo bolt from the master cylinder itself and tried to pump straight out the master cylinder itself.......nothing. Do you guys think it is the master cylinder? Would a rebuild kit fix this? With some other stuff I have found it wouldn't surprise me if it does. Just not sure why it worked before though and now won't pump. Thanks.
  5. Wish I could afford that motor you are selling. Surprised nobody has snatched that up. 1000 bucks for a complete motor is a good deal. Can I make payments? LOL.
  6. Thanks.......20 dollar factory manual it is. Here is the link if anybody else wants to pick one up. http://www.sell.com/26HH12. I am not endorsing the sight, just found the manual for cheap and letting others know.
  7. I meant cover everything for my 2000 model.
  8. New to Banshee's. I am looking at buying a factory manual. I have a 2000 model, but found a factory manual that covers 2002-2006 for 20 bucks. Aren't all years Banshees basically the same with just a few minor changes?? I don't want a Clymers manual. They are never as complete as the factory manuals. Just wondering if the '02-'06 manual should cover everything for the '02. Thanks
  9. I didn't. Broke the gear to get it off. Removed impeller. Bearing shot. Got to order one and the rubber seal.......and gear. Thanks again.
  10. I already bought the impeller, but looking like I may have to destroy this gear to get it off the old impeller. It just doesnt want to budge. Thanks for responding.
  11. I could destroy the plastic gear and get it off that way, but I prefer not to.
  12. This has turned into a mess of a job. Cover screws were all stripped out. Had to drill and use ez out on 4 of them. I just bought this banshee.
  13. From reading other threads I do believe the pin is below the plastic gear and has to be removed to get the impeller out.
  14. Trying to get the plastic gear to come off the impeller shaft. Have removed the clip and the washer, but that damn gear does not wanna budge. Reading other threads it looks like it should come right off, but mine does not. Any tricks or ideas? Thanks guys.
  15. It's worth whatever you can get for it.
  16. I am VERY interested if the sale to the first guy doesn't go through.
  17. Thanks for the shocks Grey. Rode yesterday, night and day better than the stock ones. Grey was easy to deal with and shipped promptly.
  18. I just paid him for the shocks so I can tell you they are now off the list.
