Well i had my bike tuned for the colder weather in the start of the winter. I have 280 mains in there right now with the air box lid on. I was wondering instead of me droping a size on the mains if i can just remove my air box lid for the summer and it would run just as lean? Thanks

I also been noticing that sometimes it doesnt want to find neutrol, and it doesnt shift as im changing gears as easy as it should. Could this be from the same cause? -

My Cable and clutch rod is new. I had it all replaced due to a welded rod. I see that your from Longisland also. Tuning house cycles of bohemia replaced all the parts -
Do you guys think i need to pull the carb off the banshee to install a new choke lever, beacause mine doesnt stay out by itself, or can i just unscrew it with a wrench and put the new one back in? Thanks

Thank you , All your help is apreciated

I know that process of bleeding, i just need to know how to get the old fluid out the line, i still have tons of fluid in the reservoir
-
So i just crack the bleeder valve and keep pumping the brakes till nothing comes out anymore? And when i go to fill it do i put the fluid in and leave the bleeder open and wait till fluid starts coming out the valve then i can begin the bleed process?
-
I have to bleed the brakes in the back on my banshee, i know the process of doing it. Im just wondering if i have to get the old fluid out beceause i have some still above the mark. If i do have to get the old fluid out which is the best way? Thanks

My rear brake pedal is really loose and wobbly, i changed the spring and it didnt help. It has alot of free play and you have to really press it down all the way for my banshee to stop,

I really only need the rear right now, I currently have holeshots with a bent rim and only about 20 % thread on them. How much do you think i should pay for the rear with rims? -

I apreciate all the information, I am located down in long island ny and i was able to find a place who will tune it correctly for 100 bucks, i might as well let them do it because my clutch rod seized , my luck. So now thats another thing that has to get taken care of
-
I only payed him 50 bucks. One shop said it was going to be 600 for a tuneing and the other shop said 300 if it needs to be cleaned and such. Do you want to come out to New York and make some money ahaa
-
he said he did adjust the height on one of the floats
-
I guess im gonna have to eat up another fee and pay 250 for them to be tuned the right way and perfect
-
I cleaned them 2 days before he cleaned them, i have the proper jets for my exhuast, main and pilot. im at sea level. Is it possible that he didnt adjust the needles correctly beacuse the needles that came with the bike were aftermarket and they were bent so i had to purchased stock ones and he just realized it after he put the bike back together.
-
Basically i had some guy off craiglist who has "25 years" exprience come tune my banshee. After he puts it all together it started up 1st kick and wouldnt stay idling and was boging a ittle bit. Today i go to start it and it took literally 30 kicks with the choke on to start and gas was just poruing out the overflow. Now this douche wont answer my calls or nothing but yesterday he was saying the needles arent right but wasnt it his job to make sure they were correct?
-
I just bought a banshee and i had to replace the carbs, i have mods such as trinitty full exhuast, i am runing a 280 main jet and 30 pilot. I am at sea level so the jetting should be correct. The quad wont kick over and will only start when we push start it, then when i have it in neutrol idling its idiling so high that it sounds like someone is reving it when its just siting. Does that mean they need to just be tuned? or could it be the reeds? When i bought the bike with the old carbs the kid had it started 123.
