  3. But like I said bolth pieces of the bolt came out by spinning with my fingers...
  4. ok so this is my first engine tear down. and i was putting the top bolts back on and it breaks. and so did the next one... and i wasn't even close to as tight as they need to be. so much so that when the cases were split again i could unscrew the broken part with my fingers... what the hell is going on? i think i put to much liquid gasket on if that has anything to do with it... what is the best way to put that stuff on?

  8. when i tore it apart there was a red rubber sealant on the gaskets. do you know what that is?

  10. i am doing a engine tear down on my banshee to replace some bad seals. in terms of sealant and cleaner and grease what do i need? or any other substances?
  11. yes i understand that. i was just thinking there need to be pressure to force air into the cylinder. but the more i think about it the piston creates a vacuum effect to pull it in. i understand now.
  12. then how does it keep the pressure different on each side?
  13. i tore my engine apart today and i got a little confused. it doesn't have a seal in between the crank bearing and the case? how is that possible?
  14. i was just rewiring my banshee. considering just haveing the lights on high beam all the time. does the effect the performance off the machine? any other problems with this?
  15. well looking at the wireing harness the guy i bought it from i guess decited to make his own harness... out of 3 inch peaces of wire and about 20 roles of electrical tape.... : : ... so i dont know if this is the problem but im going to gut it and start over... does any know what colors of wire coming out of the cdi go were?
  16. alright both of thoughs are not on my bike. when i look into my carbs one opens like a milla second before the other one. does that mean anything?
  17. are the parking break and torr the same thing? i dont have stoke carbs does that mean i dont have torrs?
  18. alright guys i cant figure this out for the life of me... first of all i'll tell you what i have checked and/or replaced: spark plugs, spark plug caps, carps are clean, compression, reads, CDI, stator, ignition coil. and the crank seal is going to be replaced tomorrow. ok now whats its doing: i kick start it and it ideals fine. then i give it gas and it wont rev at all. its sounds something like unnnnnnn. haha and if i hold it to long it dies. but if i kick it and give it gas instantly it will rev has high as i want untell i let off the gas and i does it again. also it back fires every now and then. any advice would be of much help! i dont know were to go with this!
