Like everyone says its all in the prep. LineX looks really good but is very thin and expensive. I do Vortex liners. They are pretty much the same as the big name as in it goes on in 2 parts at 150 degrees and is dry in 3 seconds. In my opinion there is Vortex and LineX. The others dont really compare. Mostly do to applications that Rhino could care less about. Dont do a roll on as it will cost more to remove when it fails than a liner will cost. Drop ins let everything slide around in your bed and drive you nuts and rub the paint off where it will rust. LineX looks nice but will get dirty and its hard to clean if your picky. Vortex is 2-3 times thicker and has different textures if needed. Im in Sturgis MI if that helps but there are dealers around MI. It takes around 3 hours to do. Prep takes 2, spray takes 15 minutes then unmask and replace hardware. If someone tells you be back in 1 hour and it will be done there better be 4 guys working on it or they will just sand the edges and spray it and you will rip it out after you get tired of having them fix it. Good luck. BTW 6.5' under the rails are $400 OTD for a Vortex.. add $50 to go over the rail.

long strip in the middle.. Im parked just on the edge as you can see the one way marker. This is the starting line.. Trucks were going through it and the water was to their floor so Im guessing over 2'.

There were no lanes open on the long strip as it is all under water... Down by the beach half of it was usable but has a big ass speed bump at about 200' and teh other half was full of mud holes.. I think they got more rain this week so I doubt there will be too good of a track by the beach but maybe you can make something happen there.

JJ&A are a little smaller than I want.. my friend has them and 18" is just too small... I tried w Direct drive but they were backordered on me. If none pop up in the next few days I will go new and just get black wheels all around that are in stock. Thanks for the info too..

Is there anyplace there for sand drag racing? I have never been there but would like to go.. Just wondering what, if not both bikes should I bring.. Silver lake is just too damn crappy for the first few weeks.. I need to ride...lol

Any clue on the cost to race? What time? Is there a tree? I have always wanted to go race there but now seems like as good of time as any...How many racers will be there?..TIA

I will definitely say hi to you guys.. lol.. I will however not line up with Mr powdercoater dude as I have seen pics of his bike run and do not need a lap and facefull of sand...lol. Cant wait to see some crazy fast bikes out there.

my bike was blue last year.. you may have ran Langford..Mine has a +8 arm and regeared from last year.. also a drag axle as opposed to the play axle I ran last year. We have a Raptor Rally on June 8,9, 10th at the Dunes this year.. there is sure to be a few drag Raptors there to race. The more the merrier.

LOL.. that would help wouldnt it. Im on a Black D7 Turbo Raptor 700. I didnt realize how many Banshee members here went to Silver Lake until I found this thread while. Im not here to piss anyone off or bash anyones bike Its just there are not too many Raptor 700 drag bikes to race against or even talk to at the dunes. Mine is not a full drag bike but it seems to be heading in that direction..lol

I will be up there also trying to race...lol. I dont have a Banshee but I will line up with you guys on the track. Ive raced a few of you guys in the past there and have always had fun. This will be my first memorial day at the dunes and I am no jockey or racer so please dont flame me...lol.... see ya there
