  1. Buy a 2nd banshee , choices choices???? I'm building a bike like yours and I'm going back and forth on a 4 mil mx port or a 4 mil dun port. I ride mostly trails , fields , seasonal roads . I was wondering is your dune port too much for the trails. I just don't want to do a mx port and wish it was faster, then again I hope it's not to crazy for the trails. Not to hyjack your post. Just need good info.
  2. Wtf really, I finally get a pic of the banshee motor I was gonna by for $100 . The guy said all it needs was a head. Hmmmmmmmm. If the head is fried that means the pistons , then the cylinders , then the crank. ...... He sends me a pic of a banshee engine with a piston and a broken rod next to it. I ask him are the cases cracked anywhere ? How are the cylinders? ... He says " cases are perfect it only need one head. Lol . U think he means the head( piston and crank rod) . I asked him about the crank and he never got back to me. Wtf .

  4. Is there that much of a difference between the CPIs , shearers. Or is it personal preference , ford vs. Chevy .
  5. Between CPIs , shearer, r2s, snipers? What pipe holds the most low end to mid? (with a 4 mil dune port) .

  7. I wouldn't if I where you. You'll fall victim to searching the web, this site looking for parts info and pics on how to customize your banshee . Spend tons of $$$ on aftermarket parts . It's worse then owning a Harley . I sold mine 4 years ago and missed it do much I traded my dirtbike for a blown project banshee. I'm thinking of a 2nd. There is nothing like em.
  8. I responded to a garage sale add that had a list of stuff that included a banshee motor tires and rims. I texted them how much for the motor. They replyed it needs a head . I replyed back - bottom price . They said $100.00. If the cases are good and cylinders I either can part it out or build a 2nd. I'm siked, hope it works out.
  9. That's what I was talking about, sorry looking at a 4 mil - mx or dune port, with 4mil. Thinking the dune port will be a hand full in the trails???
  10. Just worried if I get a mx port ill be bored, my last banshee had all the bolt ons you can buy with a milled head. I didn't have a port job. I thought the power was good bottom to top and was easy to trail ride. I just want my new build to fly.

  17. I've decided on the 4mil hardcore mx port for my type of riding style. I'm trying to decide which pipes would be best? My old banshee had FMF fatties. I liked em but want to try something different . I really like the look of the r2, shearers, and CPIs . But will they work for this set up?? If not t5s or 916s?kevin said the FMF s would run fine. Just wanted to try something new.

  19. No not yet . I'm lookin at Hjr. I like the kits they have. I'm in no hurry just gathering as much info before I make the move.
  20. Thanks for the input, just learning all the variation of the 4 mill . U have a pro design cool head what size domes should I be looking at with this set up and can I still run pump gas ?
  21. And with the stock cylinders 4mill port and bolt ons would it be smart to run a set of pipes like CPIs for my style of riding or stick with the t5s or pro circuits.

  23. Doing a rebuild a blown banshee and was thinking rather than doing a 4 mil Nd buying everything new , bored, ported. Why not just buy the 421 cheetah cub kit. I think I would be better off. My question is a 4 mil kit for me? What can I expect? I want to set up for Xc/woods/ drag for fun and sometimes mx. I don't race but like to go fast. Only owned one other shee that was mainly bolt on performance -pipes, reeds, milled head, bored, timing plate. I thought it was fun and fast. Question is , I never rode a 4mil what's it like? Is it too much for my riding style? Thanks
