I know this has been posted before, but I couldn't find it. I am interested in running R1 clutches with my lockup for asphalt drag racing. I am going through several sets a year and need a better quality plate. Does anyone have any part numbers or input?

I got the cylinders last week. The port job is very nice. The new finger ports are big enough to stick my thumb in and the exhaust is huge. He also matched me up with some custom domes for cheap. I installed the cylinders, adjusted timing, and jetted and it is now a beast stallion. Passion racing gets a 10 out of 10 for the work, I give a generous 7 for customer service. When I spoke with him, he was excellent, but it was difficult to get him. BansheeHQ gets a 10 out of 10 for excellent results.

I spoke with Jim on Monday and today. The cylinders have been shipped and are on the way. He talked to me for a few minutes and is sending some domes matched to the cylinders. Everything seems to be smoothed out. I appreciate all of your help. It was only a few weeks behind schedule. I can live with that, and am just glad to be getting my parts back without having to buy a new banshee, new cylinders, or a plane ticket.

I can't change the date of the drag race. I just wanted to go and race. He gave me the finish date. That was weeks ago. It would take me less than 2 hours to bolt the cylinders up and have it running. The race date has been set for months. If you get on BHQ on facebook, you will see the flyers. Maybe I can have them before the race in March. I know my banshee isn't together yet, but if its ok with Colby, I am going to make plans to attend. I guess that means I don't have any common sense.

I know machining services can take a while, but when I called to get an estimate on cost and time I was told that I will have the cylinders ported and back to me in less than a month. That is one of the main reasons I chose passion to do my porting. I needed the cylinders back by a certain date. There is a huge drag race in Georgia today, and I am not there because Banshee's aren't very fast without cylinders.

I'm not asking for an email. You already helped and he knows what's going on. I appreciate the help, but I am just following up on the post.

The problem is not the wait. It is the lack of customer service. If there is a problem, just be honest and tell me. I have no problem waiting if that's what you tell me. If you continue to say it will be ready on Friday and then avoid me after you don't follow through, that is crossing the line.

What a surprise. No answer or returned call so I know the cylinders did not ship. Maybe he will respond by Monday. This same routine is getting old.

Thanks for the help everyone. I called and got an answer. He has been very sick and is going to get them out this week. I can't wait to try them out. I've always heard good things about their porting.

BHQ should not have to remove him. He should do the professional thing and take his own ads down, or ask to have them taken down and not take on any new work until he is ready. Can admin maybe send him a message? I will gladly pay if the work is finished, or if it is not, I will pay return shipping, or get him to ship them directly to redline.

WINDYCITYJOHN400, I really appreciate your help and no one could have said it better. It is very frustrating, but I know if enough people see my posts, word will get back to him. I love this site, but I sent my cylinders to him for porting because he was a site sponsor, so I thought that make him legit. Also, by posting this, maybe I can save someone else on BHQ from making the same mistake as I did. As for now, 1 banshee is sitting instead of riding.

Passion Racing has my cylinders and will not answer or return my calls. Can someone please call them for me and see if they answer for you. Be sneaky like a spy.

Has anyone heard from passion racing lately? He has my cylinders and will not call me back.

I have an update. His voicemail no longer says it is full and plays the normal passion racing voicemail. I know he has received on of my 8 voicemails. Is anyone close to his shop?

Sleeper, can you call his wife and tell her to tell him that customers are looking for him.

It would be nice if he would send my cylinders back so I can have them ready for spring. Ported or not.

He already has my cylinders and called me and said they will be done in a week. This was back in January. I haven't been able to get in touch with him since then. I hate when a business says they are going to do something and then avoids their customers instead of doing their job.

Is passion racing out of business? I have been trying to call them for a couple weeks and their voicemail is full. No response to text, call, or emails.
